Getting to and from Phuket

Situated at the northern end of the island, Phuket International Airport is the second-busiest airport in Thailand. You can reach various places on the island by air-conditioned municipal buses that run every 60 to 90 minutes. There is an express bus service from the airport to Patong Beach. Minibuses, or shared taxi services are also available. Travel around the island using a tuk-tuk, motorized rickshaw or songthaew, a covered truck with seats mounted on the bed.
