Amerigo Vespucci International Airport is only about 4 km from Florence. The Busitalia SITA Nord "Vola in Bus" shuttle takes around 20 minutes to get to the Santa Maria Novella station in the city center. The last shuttle from the airport is at 1 a.m. and from the city center at 12:30 a.m. You can buy a one-way ticket from the bus driver. There is a fixed rate for taxis, and the journey is only about 15 minutes.
