AboutThe capital of Tuscany, Florence attracts millions of visitors each year who are drawn to the city by its art, its architecture and its reputation as one of the world's most beautiful cities. The Uffizi Art Museum and the city's historic center, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are not to be missed, and there are many other historic sites throughout the city including the Duomo di Firenze cathedral, the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge and more. Florence is also known for its fashion and, like much of Italy, for its cuisine.
