The location was great. We have traveled to Ohau more than 10 times ;Didn’t know there was a holiday inn in Waikiki. This will be our hotel in the future.
The breakfast was superb. Great to have food that include health/heart conscious, which included turkey protein. Cannot say enough on how wonderful the breakfast was.

Breakfast was excellent, though there were a lot of guests it never felt super crowded. We enjoyed very much the pool area. Everything was very clean. Good value for money.
The elevators are ver6 slow and the waiting times at certain hours are too long.

It’s very clean and simple. It was just me and my wife and our son. We enjoyed the breakfast and how close it is to everything in Waikiki. We really only used the hotel to sleep and shower. But it was a great location and a great vacation because of the hotel staff and cleanliness. Our room was cleaned every other day. Clean and fresh sheets and towels.
Elevator was always slow and busy due to many floors and a lot of foot traffic. Sometimes you would have to wait 15+ minutes for an elevator. Even if it’s going up. You should get in because it might be the only elevator you’re going to get for a while. The parking was a major deal for us. Since we rented a car, some nights we had to circle around for an open spot Or go as far as parking off site at the Marriott. But even they get full fast. Once they get full. You have to park further down at a public parking garage and then walk back to the hotel. Even thought they take off the night charge for parking. It still sucks you can’t park onsite of the hotel you’re paying for.
