Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. We saw wildlife and birds from our deck. The property has a watering hole and vulture feeding daily allowing us to spot animals every day.

Our stay at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge was wonderful. The breakfast was very good and the rooms very comfortable. It is located outside the town but that was not a problem as there is a shuttle available for those wishing to go into town. All tours that we took were arranged at the hotel. Pick up was available. A great place to stay!!

Total African feel. All rooms overlook the game park and water hole. So amazing to eat your meal or have a drink while watching animals come and go.

The huts were so well equipped and from which you could view the watering holes. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Coordination of excursions to one’s satisfaction was a priority of staff. All staff were wonderful: happy, helpful and warm! We hated to say “goodbye”.
Lots of stairs so not convenient for those having difficulty walking.

This place is spectacular! We arrived and sat down at the lunch bar only to see a herd of elephants rock up, babies and all. The spa was lovely! I felt the food was very reasonably priced and very delicious. The bed was cozy, our room was great. Definitely bring bug spray as there are a few cracks around the door frames, mosquitoes managed to sneak in. Overall, it was fantastic and I miss it already! Definitely up there with one of my favorite hotels and I’ve been to 100 countries! You just can’t beat the views, staff and ambience!

Service of the staff was the only thing of high value at this property - it is majorly overpriced and the pictures and other reviews online are slightly misleading - be warned!
Property is average at best - other reviews on this platform and the property's pictures online are slightly misleading. The property was not as well maintained as the pictures suggest - it was slightly run down (EG. our bedsheets were torn) and poorly maintained throughout whilst the rooms lacked basic amenities that you would expect from a property that charges high-end rates, such as a dressing gown and slippers. The view from the room was nowhere near as nice as the pictures due to a drought in Africa making the landscape bare and barren (admittedly not the property's fault but the pictures were misleading as they suggested a beautifully green African landscape). Breakfast was average given the star rating of the property. Overall this property is not worth the severely inflated rates that it charges and there is far better value in Vic Falls.

The lodge is lovely and the food delicious. Rooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and amazing hot powerful showers with soft bath towels. Pampering!
Not all rooms have a direct view of the watering hole.
