Wonderful
The location was great, the pool was lovely and we met interesting people.
Late night music on Friday and Saturday night. And early check out the next day, which I suggested they shift to 11am to make up for late night music previous nights.

Good
Nice looking spot, staff is very nice and welcoming. Good coffee
Dorm felt a bit stuffy, the aircon kept stopping during the night, making the room hot and cold intermittently. Party every Friday and Saturday, big sound system, not the best if you're looking for a rest after a long journey

Very Poor
Location
During my stay I experienced a very serious security issue that future guests should be aware of.
I briefly left my private locked room to get a coffee and accidentally left my wallet inside. While I was out, I started receiving bank notifications about several rejected online transactions. When I returned, it became clear that someone had likely copied the details of multiple cards from my wallet.
I have cards from three different banks, including two business cards that require authorization to be used. Attempts were made to use several of them at the same time for online purchases, even though I had only used one of my personal cards during my trip.
In total, almost €6,700 in transactions were attempted across all the cards. Fortunately, my bank flagged the activity and rejected the payments.
I reported the situation to two managers and the owner, who attempted to convince me that it could not have happened at the property. I also asked to review CCTV footage but was told there is none.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise other travelers to be cautious when choosing this property.

Wonderful
Roomy tent with all the conveniences of a hotel room.
Washroom bit far from tent but rarely crowded...low season.

Decent place to stay, had all the amenities you would want out of a backpackers. Food from restaurant was fine and bar area was fun to hang out in.

Lovely place with friends and couples. Party vibe! Good bar! Fun place. Staff are very helpful.
Small area, food is expensive, weekend can be busy and loud.

The price
My room was filthy. I looked under my bed and it looked like it hadn’t been swept in a year

Very Good
The property is close to the main city and close to the gate of Vic falls.
It’s a hostel with all types of accommodation.
There is ample place to sit out and chill- swimming pool, garden , chairs , shed and also a bar that plays music.
The rooms are ok with bathrooms having warm water.
They have drinking water for the hostel guests ??
The rooms are small. The windows are not totally sealed by mosquitoes preventing nets. Some window nets are torn and they must be immediately repaired. Mosquitoes can spoil the night sleep although they provide mosquito nets or they can cause Malaria and other stuff. So getting the room mosquitoes proof is MOST important.
Our room bathroom floor was stagnating water, standing in dirty soapy water while taking shower is the most disgusting thing. I requested the staff but until i left there was no action to repair. Prompt action is needed to help the guests.
The hostel does not have self catering kitchen neither a fridge. But they have a restaurant that is having many types of food. The staff in the restaurant are very respectful, polite and caring and very helpful. The staff on the reception are also very polite and respectful but i would like them to be prompt in getting things repaired.
The way from the door to the rooms need to be elavated and some stones need to be put to make a walk way bcoz when it rains it becomes a puddle and one has to walk in water. Also the walkway needs to be well lit , at night it becomes pretty dark.

Ann and Angie were incredibly helpful, the restaurant was excellent, the location is perfect (quiet but close to town), and the facilities are clean and comfortable.

Pleasant
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the festive atmosphere. There was a DJ and dancing at night.
I had the bedroom with its own bathroom. It was a very rustic and basic room. There were holes in the mosquito netting on the bed. There were bugs. I had to sleep with the lights on.

we slept in tents, it was not provided with the iron and there were no freezer. our cloths were not ironed.
The bathrooms are outside, which is not good especially morning and night time.

Good
The on suite bedroom was neat, clean and very affordable compared to the other accommodation at Victoria Falls.
The staff provided us with fresh towels and toiletries when required which we highly appreciated.
The room has a mosquito net and a fan which adds to the comfort of the stay.
The pool was very enjoyable throughout our visit.
The music can be loud untill late at night or early morning hours. People who are looking for a party should stay at Shoestrings.

Poor
Good location within walking distance of Falls and shops. Helpful staff giving me notice of loud weekend music and giving me a room in the back area.
No outside food or drink allowed, therefore no communal kitchen or kettle available. Constant loud music around pool area. The private room had no AC so needed to use a very very noisy fan and leave the windows open. It wasn’t the type of hostel I wanted so moved after one night. I could hear the Friday night music from blocks away.
