We could not have been happier at Weaver Cottages! Hosts Irene and Murray were warm, welcoming, and fascinating people, and Adrian, the caretaker, was incredibly friendly and attentive, as well. They all made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage itself was also a delight -- wonderful, natural lighting, ample space, and my favorite: the outdoor shower! Our morning breakfast of coffee/tea, yogurt, muesli, and fruit was plenty, and the delicious pastries every morning were an extra-special treat. I thoroughly enjoyed eating breakfast every morning on our peaceful patio overlooking the garden. The location was easy to find, and we were able to get around easily to and from town using the InDrive app. We were sad to leave at the end of our week's stay! Thank you Irene, Murray, and Adrian!
Everything was terrific, and even with the power cuts in Harare, we always had electricity available to us through the back-up generator and solar-powered inverter.

Wonderful
The cottage is cozy, with a natural and calming style. I enjoyed it as my workspace—a peaceful and creative place. And I was well looked after.

The self-serve morning breakfast provisions in the room were simple but entirely perfect for me. Yogurt, muesli, fruit, tea and coffee. The room was quiet, allowing me to rest well and work at the desk.
Nothing to do with the hosts...but the city electricity was out quite often. The room had battery/inverter back up which was great. However, the water supply /pressure required electricity. This simply meant having to message the hosts when I was ready for a shower, and they would put on their generator for me. The hosts were great! I just wish I would not have to bother them at shower time.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. The property is beautifully landscaped, and I enjoyed peace and quiet during my stay. I stayed for a week, and I've never slept better! I would recommend this property to friends and family.
I wish I could have stayed longer.

VERY COZY COTTAGES WITH PERFECT LOCATION. HOSTS ARE WONDERFUL AND ALWAYS AVAIABLE TO HELP.
HARARE IS HAVING ELECTRICAL POWER CUTS AT NIGHT. PROPERTY HAS GENERATOR THAT HAS TO BE SWITCHED ON WHEN NECESSARY.

I liked that it was spacious and homely. And the staff were very pleasant and friendly.
My 84 year old Mom did not like the fact that the shower was outside.

I loved the cottage's design including an al fresco shower with greenery and hot water! There is even a fireplace for colder temps. The kitchenette was well appointed with all you need, plus fresh pastries.
This is not a problem with the cottage but be aware that your cellular service may not work in Harare. If you think you'll need it, best to arrange a SIM card once you arrive. Otherwise, Irene was happy to call a taxi for me which was all I needed.

The cottage is quite rustic with a brilliant huge tree growing out of the outside shower. Architectural genius. Fantastic collection of really progressive literature from politics to novels. The garden is charming. The breakfast was healthy but basic continental with fresh fruit and yoghurt and cereal. Bed was comfortable and kitchen facilities helpful for self catering
Think the bedding needs to shelve the blankets in favour of washable duvets after the cold winter season. Wifi a little slow
