When I first arrived I was greeted and welcomed by the lovely host, Paulette. Her and the rest of the lodge staff were very attentive and made the whole stay comfortable. I stayed in a large and well equipped room with everything I needed for a work trip. I made my tea everyday using the kitchen area that opens to the wide garden with a view and fresh air. It was also reassuring to leave my belongings in the exceptionally safe premises. I could go on! Thanks for the experience :)

The Lodge is conveniently situated and all amenities are close by.
The well treed garden attracts a rich selection of bird life.
The staff are very attentive and the sumptuous breakfast sets you up for a full days activities.

Our hosts made us very welcome and were great in assisting us to have a barbeque with few friends from out of town. We felt very 'at home' at Malcolm Lodge. The breakfasts were simple but lovely. We really could not have asked for more.

This was my second stay at Malcolm Lodge. The setting is peaceful, the hosts are excellent and the home cooked meals are a treat.
The WiFi signal and phone signal was a bit inconsistent but I think it was related to the load shedding. Also, as a result of the load shedding, the generator was a bit noisy but would rather have power than no noise and no power.
