Place is a bit run down but fine for our needs. Staff is excellent!!

Decent accommodation with great smiling staff,but 166usd for 2 nights in a guest house is just plain overcharging. Overall impression when you exclude the price is that you can have a comfortable stay there.

It was in a quiet neighborhood. My room was huge, bigger than expected. The meals were delicious. I got to do what I aimed to do which was rest.

Location: excellent - for my purposes
Breakfast: basic; cooked breakfast was very good (especially omelettes and bacon and tomato);
Breakfast: Cereals, fruit juices, margarine (no butter), well below expectation.
Presentation on the table: plastic bottles unacceptable; very cheap cutlery; patio needs cleaning; no facilities available in the evenings including no tv BUT there was no electricity for the whole week due to a Zesa fault, not the fault of the establishment but could have done better in covering for it.
Beds: mattrasses poor quality foam and two single foam on a double, not good.
TV: no dstv, no tv most nights even at times with generator

My family and I loved everything. The pool - we swam 2 days in a row. The staff were so accommodating and polite. The rooms were clean and we met the owner Mbuya Maruwa who was such a sweetheart. I would absolutely go back. Mbuya said to drop by anytime for a cup of tea!
