It’s like going back in time and staying in a museum. Staff is great, breakfast included and served at the table with an extensive menu. Great location. They even had the fireplace going to chase the Winter chill away. Overall a great experience

A historic place that takes you back a century or more. Loved it.
My visit was too short.

Wonderful
Breakfast was good, however you can add more variety to vegetarian menu.
Location is okay, please get rid of the illegal taxis as they are noisy and safety is compromised.
Otherwise, maintain the vintage style.
Refurbish your sofas, they don't have to be of the twenty first century, maintain vintage

What a find - a genuine historical institution that opens its doors to travellers. A building that both reflects and represents the history of Bulawayo. Fantastic experience
No major complaints at all

I am from Harare, Zimbabwe and had to travel to BYO for work, and don't know much about BYO. I found this property online and it was an absolute gem. The owners have really taken care to maintain a historic building dating back in history and it was a pleasure to stay here. I will absolutely return for my next BYO trip!
Nothing.

Just a perfect touch to the history. You can naturally smell how it was 50 yrs ago. Was interesting to play a snooker at one of old tables, using old tools.
Breakfast was good.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Well.. Everybody should understand that touch to history has disadvangates - i.e. rooms and equipment there is clean, but old...
and of course - no A/C.

Location is ideal for accessing central Bulawayo. Historical aspects of the building and furnishings of interest.
First room was very noisy due to minibus callers, shouting for business. I moved to another room which was so much better however the ceiling fan was equally noisy and the wifi intermittent.
