The property is located in a good location. There is a bar and restaurant on site. The food was ok, nothing special. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The female dorm is located a bit far from the reception and the was no hot water for most of the time. There are only two plug points in the female dorm that was tricky to navigate with 6 people.

Coffee is available at 6 am. The night staff prepare that. This is great cos i like to enjoy a very early morning coffee. The day staff come at 7.30 and will cook you eggs on toast. The staff are great. The pool os clean. Its far from the centre but with Yango, just 50kw or 150kw to the airport, 10 minutes walk to the Mall. Small local eatery very near.

Positives.
1. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
2. The receptionists assisted me with a 10m long electrical cable to be able to connect my laptop at night and work.
3. On my arrival, I arrived late when the restaurant was closed, being on medication the staff went out of their way to prepare something for me so that I can take my medication.
4. I spoke to the owner once when I had transport challenges, he is also very helpful and caring
Things the lodge must check are.
1. For 6 days my room was not serviced.
2. No wardrobe or a place to hang clothes, no hangers.
3. Due to the fact that the room had no bath facilities and toilet, staying closer to the general bathroom/Toilet is a challenge because you are being kept awake by the people going there through out the night.
4. The place is not far from the entertainment place or shebeen, the blurring music, screems and shouting the whole night was unbearable.
5. I bathed with cold water due to hot water being unavailable next to the room 9 I was booked into I had to request to be moved, Justine kindly moved me to room 1.
6. Safety precautions for ladies visiting the ablution facilities through out the night might be a risk especially with people drinking liquor till late, let the hotel provide atleast pee pots in the room and offer it on request or if they know a lady is staying there.
7. Electrical equipment, their plugs differes from ours, as a results you can't use your equipment, they must provide generic plugs to serve the needs of others.
8. On the third day a shuttle was organized to pickup and drop the Institute delegates at 7h30 which was excellent but breakfast was only served from 07h30 so I missed my breakfasts.
9. No tea and coffee facilities in the room.
10. No bottle drinking water provided.

After around two years of traveling this is one of the most favorable hostels I have been. It is a green oasis in the middle of the city of Lusaka, a shopping mall is as close as a 10 min walk. Breakfast is made of egg, bread, Avocado, jam, peanut butter, corn flakes and coffee or tea - as much as you want. The pool is always clean and fresh. I loved this place.
