Similarly to another reviewer, I don't often rate something a perfect ten, but this property exceeded our expectations in every way. It may have been the best accommodation experience we've had in almost three months of independent travel in Africa! Though it's located a good distance from the city center, this is hardly an issue as basically everything you could want is within a short walk from the property. Small groceries can be found across the street, with larger stores within easy walking distance, as well. Though we booked the smaller room, we were upgraded to the larger cottage and it was really incredible. Very cozy and immaculately provisioned, I'm not exaggerating when I say my wife and I would have been happy to live there for a year. The bed was comfortable, we had a couple of fans, hot water in both the bathroom and kitchen, luxurious air conditioning and could cook anything we wanted in the fully stocked kitchen. Whiteson, his wife Justina and their four lovely little dogs also made the experience special. It's been rare on our travels to find hosts as genuine, kind and engaging as we found at this property. We were genuinely sad to leave!

the location was convenient I got to see how the locals live it was a genuine experience. I was able to walk to the store and buy fresh produce and bread.

Quite a nice place l was treated well

I had a wonderful stay at this furnished apartment in Lusaka. The neighborhood felt very safe and was well-located—just a short walk to a nice grocery store, shops, a mall, and the local market. The apartment itself was a perfect size for one person, clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. The WiFi was generally fast and reliable enough for my online work, and load shedding didn’t really impact me thanks to the host’s clear communication and backup planning. The highlight of my stay was my host, Whiteson. He was incredibly helpful and always available whenever I needed anything. A few times when I got lost on the way back using Yango, he kindly went outside to speak to the driver and help guide me. Whether it was questions about the apartment, arranging laundry, organizing a private driver for a trip to the national park, or just general advice on the area—he was always happy to help. The cleaning lady came a few times a week and even helped with laundry, which was a big plus. I also enjoyed the peaceful outdoor seating area, and while Whiteson has dogs, they were very sweet and never bothered me at all. Overall, this apartment was a great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again!

We were very happy to stay here. Whiteson was the best host, super friendly and always ready to help out. He even got up in the middle of the night to help us when we had taxi trouble. Recommended!

The invigorating warm showers were a personal favorite, adding an extra layer of comfort to the stay. The fully equipped kitchen was a pleasant surprise and greatly contributed to my overall satisfaction. I absolutely adored it. Our host, a truly gentle soul, was always just a message away, responding promptly to any needs that arose, ensuring our utmost convenience. Housekeeping services were nothing short of fabulous and available whenever required. I'm already planning a return for a longer stay because my experience was truly exceptional. Lastly, the presence of the charming poodles, our canine companions during the stay, injected an infectious energy into the atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation – it's an experience worth savoring
