I had a wonderful stay at Tabonina. From the moment I arrived, the staff and owners were kind, helpful, and accommodating, making me feel genuinely welcome throughout my visit. Breakfast in the garden was a true highlight. The fresh air and gentle morning sun made it a lovely way to start each day. And the bed? After long, activity-filled days, I couldn’t wait to sink into it. It was exceptionally comfortable and the perfect place to unwind.

Staff was amazing, breakfast delicious, lovely rooms and decor, great location. I much preferred livingstone to Victoria falls town, and it was half the price.

I was genuinely impressed by this budget-friendly lodge. The lush garden and sparkling clean pool with lounge chairs made it feel like a hidden oasis, while the location was perfect—within walking distance of the town center, grocery stores, and restaurants. The WiFi was the fastest I've had anywhere in Zambia after trying several different accommodations. My room was quiet, safe, and equipped with a fan that worked even during power outages thanks to the backup system. Though the bathroom was shared, I never had to wait or run into other guests. Breakfast was a daily highlight: fresh toast, jam, eggs made to order, cereal, juice, and tea or instant coffee, with occasional extras like fruit or more toast. The staff went above and beyond—even waking at 4am to help me with my taxi. Rooms were cleaned daily, and you can request laundry service for a small fee. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations for a budget lodge—a peaceful, safe, and welcoming stay I would absolutely recommend.

The space was nice and relaxing, the pool was clean and fresh, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was amazingly diverse and fulfilling and most importantly the staff (day and night shifts) were super kind and helpful with booking activities and other needs so I literally felt like home immediately! PS: the bonus part is the sleeping nets, very useful and not all hotels have them in the area Thank you :)

Clean room and quiet vibes, I was able to take rest well.

The staff were so friendly, helpful and made me feel so welcomed. Whenever I required a taxi they arranged one for me. It is a small resort and peaceful. Hopefully more tourist will travel to Livingstone soon and stay at this resort. Thank you to all the staff.

Pool was clean. Room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Eggs toast banana and cereal.

The staff was amazing and they were the highlight of my stay.

Lovely guest house with good substantial breakfast included (toast, eggs, jam, butter, cereal, tea, coffee, fruit and juice). Well kept grounds and the pool was clean, the shared bathroom is simple but has a good shower. Staff were really friendly and the location is a little further out than other hotels but we felt very safe walking around Livingstone (it is a 12min walk to the curio market) and there are restaurants nearby such as Flavours pub and grill. I would recommend booking tours through the owner/person at reception as the price is better and you are guaranteed to go on that excursion. We booked online at first and the tour forgot to pick us up. After rearranging through the hotel we were picked up the day after by the tour company.
