The food was exceptional, with my dietary requirements well catered for. Any interactions with the hosts was warm and makes one feel very welcome. Sharon went over and beyond her duties ensuring some items I left behind was provided to me safely - I really am most grateful!

Bedrooms were tiny, and mattress was old and uncomfortable.
Stairs was very dangerous and impractical.
Bathroom outside was uncomfortable having to walk between house and bathroom, not very private.
No drinking water was left in the rooms. We had no milk left in the tea and coffee station.

Very quaint but needs some upkeep. Limited activities on the grounds. An adventure. You feel like you are in a lord of the rings movie. Woodcarving is pretty I would advise you book to stay and enjoy the Midlands Meander during the day as the grounds themselves are standard.
We didnt stay the last night at left early. The cottages are very basic. The food is not bad but we expected a higher standard for the price paid. Its very dark at nights/

Lovely enchanting ambiance. Each tree house is unique and beautiful. We previously stayed in planequarium, this time in fantasy. Magical experience, and the kids loved it.
Breakfast and dinner was delicious, and there was ample food to enjoy.

i was blown away with the most beautiful bar and dining area hand crafted out of wood. you really have to see it to believe it. sycamore has a number of tree houses which looked interesting although we stayed in the cottage but will return to book a stay in one of the tree houses. the food is home cooked fare and expertly prepared. staff were on the ball and ever attentive. loved the breakfast in the morning served piping hot to order. there is an honesty bar available and you are more than welcome to byo.
i loved the place, whats not to like.

It was a unique experience in a tree house.
It was smaller than usual. No sitting space in the unit. There are no other activities on the premises.
