A lovely peaceful cottage. Shane was extremely attentive to our needs, and communicated very well. Would definitely recommend.
The road, fortunately quite short, did best with a 4 x 4.

Lovely location on the farm. So peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were so helpful, offering lots of information about what to do and see in the area. The cottage has all the essentials you would need, including an aircon. It was nice that we could bring our doggie with us too
Unfortunately, there were some power interruptions on the first night due to the extreme wind, but not the fault of the hosts.

Nice house, super relaxing atmosphere, lots of space, and quiet. Shane is always available to answer any questions one may have.
Road is not really optimal for normal cars. Also, a bit more light in/outdoors may not be the worst idea.

The best bathroom facilities ever. More than enough space to put your belongings, more than enough hooks to hang towels, more than enough space overall. The bath mats were clean and sufficient. Just absolutely excellent

I loved the view. Woke up everyday with the cloud floating over the mountains that surrounded us. Would definitely visit again if I ever find myself in the Tulbagh/Wolsley area.
I liked how peaceful it was.

Free standing self contained chalets situated on a working farm. Feeling of wide open spaces with mountain backdrop and access to the farm dam in front of you We arrived with the temp at 36 degrees and the aircon was a blessing
In the event of load shedding there is a gas stove but no evidence of lighting backup apart from candies

Swimming in the dam every day. The beautiful panoramic views. Peace and quiet. Comfortable beds. Aircon was a life saver on hot days. Friendly host was easy to communicate with. Lots of activities in the area. Good size fridge. Again, swimming in the dam. Oh and our shower in Olive cottage was fantastic.
The wifi is ok, if you need to work its not ideal. But we made a plan and went into town. Worth it to note that there is no cell reception on the farm. This can be a positive! The knives could do with being sharpened

A beautiful setting in the mountains. Very quiet. The Tulbach wine route is about 10 minutes away. Lovely estates to visit. We went cherry picking at Klondyke about 50 minutes away.
All good!No tv for tv fans but wifi works very well and we all have our gadgets if you want to watch shows but we were there to relax and explore!!
