This was a good stay, in particular because Fiona, the proprietor was so very kind and helpful. She went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed. She had little things on hand like chargers for those of us who forgot our adaptors. She offered other rooms if we had wanted them but we were happy with what we had. Everything was beautifully clean.

Everything fantastic from the property location to rooms to communal areas and pool. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options also excellent

Lovely setting and location. Fiona was a brilliant host , friendly and informative about the area. Delicious breakfasts overlooking the beautiful garden and pool. Lots of shade from the trees which was welcome. Easy to walk into Stellenbosch . Spacious room and very comfortable. Loved the friendly bunny.
Small grouse but thought it petty to charge for water in bedroom given the overall price!!

Overall everything was very well prepared and the property is still in excellent condition.
Almost everything was just fine, though perhaps the room furnishings were a little basic.

We really enjoyed our time at the Summerwood Guest House. We have been at many Guest Houses and AirBnB at our time in SA, but this was definately the best. It felt like coming home with modern, comfortable and super clean rooms, cosy lobby, great breakfast and a relaxing garden and pool area. Fiona is an absolute Angel, making us feel so welcomed as friends and took great care of all questions and requests. Can definately recommend as 10/10 stay!

Fiona was a great host, and even though our stay at Summerwood was short, it is a perfect place to rest and recover. We did a long road trip before arriving and this is exactly what we needed to rest and recover for the rest of our trip.

We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Fiona is such a lovely person and we loved hearing stories and sharing many laughs. The room was very spacious and well appointed. Everything is well thought out and there was nothing needed. Comfortable beds, beautiful gardens and amazing breakfast.

Beautiful property with pool. The bedroom was spacious and had all amenities. Fiona the host was really welcoming. Breakfast was good and the afternoon cakes were delicious!

The breakfast was superb, no need to eat anywhere else when you stay at Summerwood Guest House. Beautiful garden and lovely to sit in especially in the evenings with the ambiant lighting in the garden. Quiet suburb but very close to Central Stellenbosch where everything happens.
