The apartments is large, modern, clean, comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with everything you need already included, i.e. from kitchen essentials to comfortable bedding and reliable Wi-Fi. The location is safe and apartment has undergroung parking for 50R per day. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always easy to reach.
The bathroom needs renovation, it would benefit from refreshing to match the rest of the apartment. The property is not located in the city centre (apr 25-30 min to go), so getting to main attractions or restaurants required extra time. Breakfast is the same every day, which made it feel repetitive during a longer stay. A bit more variety would greatly improve the experience.

The host was great.
The apartment, especially the bathroom. The sink was very tiny, no where to hang towels and bathing towels. On top of that we were made to pay for parking. Additionally, there plug points were not working. Very disappointing.

The location is great. Close to the centre of Stellenbosch.
More effort to cleanliness, more towels could have been provided.
Smart TV had no existing Netflix / showmax accounts (most properties have their own accounts for guest use)
Breakfast was basic with limited options.

Service with a smile and staff always willing to help without hassle.
Can do with a better variety of glasses in the room as well as a "on-the-go"/takeaway breakfast option for people that are in a rush in the morning but, don't want to lose out on the included breakfast.

I booked this apartment expecting basic standards. There is no Wi-Fi, and I was told to “use Wi-Fi at the next apartment,” which is not acceptable.
The unit was not clean at all — dusty, and there were mosquitos throughout. We checked in at 14:00 and left about four hours later because it was simply not fit to stay in.
When I raised this immediately, they refused any refund and then rebooked the same apartment, which makes it clear the priority is keeping the money, not fixing the problem. The attitude comes across as: “as long as we have your payment, there’s nothing you can do.”
I encourage others to read the other reviews as well — especially the condescending responses from the General Manager — because it reflects exactly the kind of service we experienced.

Disappointing
No mention of not having an elevator and our room was 4 floors up. Cleaners were yelling to each other from the 1st floor to the 3rd floor early on a Sunday morning as they were cleaning and it woke us up. Floor was dirty and there was no bag for the garbage bin.

The staff needs to be thorough with cleaning; the place was visibly dirty, and the corridors had litter. It was reported to the ground staff manager & they cleaned both rooms again. The corridor was cleaned the next morning.

Didn't try breakfast at the place yet. But the smells in the morning is great! Next time definitely!
I would still like better drinking lass options or a better variety. The internet to the room is not always the most stable. But, not a dealbreaker. Worth the wait for things to get better.
