Excellent value and location. We stayed in The Old School which has two bedrooms (beds are very comfortable). There are two single beds in the living area and two bunk beds. Spacious living area with aircon (much needed in summer) and a TV with Netflix etc. Huge bathroom with large shower and corner bath. Very well equipped kitchen with oven, Nespresso machine, microwave.
Spacious dining room and private fenced garden with a braai area.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Close to Stellenbosch square, La Piñeta and Route 44 market.

It was convenient and suited our requirements, it offers privacy as each unit is spaced a distance away from the other units.
The unit has everything you need and is spacious.
It is very well priced for the area.
the decor is quite quirky and inside the unit is quite dark
the fridge is in the same area as the bed and the fridge makes a noise at night but we were happy to have a fridge and ear plugs helped if the noise worries you.
The property is just off the R 44 which gets very busy during rush hour and it is quite difficult to re-enter the traffic.

de Oude Schuur provided the basics for an overnight. It was farm style, but sufficient for a short stay as we did not need anything luxurious or fancy.
