This place was exceptional. I have to start by saying that a local who lives in Stellenbosch recommended this place to us and it was absolutely perfect. First of all the garden is so inviting and pleasing. Then, the whole house decor and color combination is so lovely that I felt like i wanted to take a picture of every wall and every painting. The room was wonderful and comfortable. We paid for an upgrade and got a higher level room with a balcony with mountain and pool view and if you do so, you will not be disappointed. The breakfast at this place was the best breakfast we have had in our lives. It is all to order and it absolutely exceeds all expectations. The room coffee is wonderful and they even have a milk frother! The bed is super comfortable and the sheets are soft and crisp. The shower is modern with wonderful pressure and nice open window to the outside so you can enjoy hearing the birds and the wild life outside. It was close to wonderful walking trails and restaurants and all together there was so much to do.
Absolutely nothing! It was truly beyond our expectations.

My room (number 2) is very small and right next door to reception area. It was noisy, lots of noise from the upper level too, and you can hear everyone coming in and going out the front door. Personally, the hotel is lovely, but this room and this position is very expensive at R2500 for on night. This room should be cheaper than other options.

We had very good time in Bonne Esperance guest house.
The pla e is beautiful and the staff is very nice.
We had a problem with one of our rooms and it was replaced at the same day.
Thank you for a great vacation.
I think the price is a bit high for a place with no breakfast.

The house is very beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Very well located and close to restaurants and shops. They have parking, which was great for me and my family. The breakfast is amazing! Staff was also very kind.

It’s well located, walking distance to the main places in town. The property has his own parking east to leave the car in a safe place. The room is amazing, nice linens and have enough space. Also the restaurant service and the food is excellent.

The location was close to the central area (and the university), but not in it, so it seemed perfect to us. The property was very nice, as was the staff. Don't miss the botanical garden across the street,
