Beautiful property with lovely little touches to make the stay very comfortable. Hard working and respectful staff. Loved the numerous outdoor common areas for relaxing and reading around the pools.

Poor. Very few items, tiny dishes, sluggish service, lack of comfort due to small tables.
Small bath towels, very strange and uncomfortable passage from toilet to bathroom (door never opened to both at the same time.)

Excellent location, very comfortable bed and pillows, amazing room (we were in the suite), breakfast was fabulous, staff was very kind and helpful. Overall - the atmosphere was nice and pleasant.
This is really small and probably not even worth mentioning - but, since I am asked: the “pool” was very small, and we didn’t like the “ceiling” water faucet for the bathtub. It caused a major splash/flood on the floor by the time the tub was filled with water.

We loved our stay here, the location was perfect and you could walk everywhere in the center of Stellenbosch. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfortable. Staff at reception was very friendly and willing to help wherever they could. Highly recommend this hotel!

Very friendly and helpful service and staff. comfortable bedding. Fresh bed linen and towels.
My room : No. 5 had a very strong "musty" smell. Not sure if it was from the antiques in the room or the Ostrich Skin furniture. It was so strong it gave me a headache. The main room had very little to no natural light and the room was over furnished, very cluttered. I guess this comes down to personal taste though.

Lovely boutique hotel with old world charm in a quiet street close to restaurants and attractions. Beautiful rooms, excellent service by friendly and helpful staff. We took advantage of the recommended tours and events which made our stay even more magical. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

This boutique hotel was spectacular. The attention to detail was amazing. It is impeccably decorated. The room was spacious, and had everything you need. We even had a small balcony. We had bathrobes slippers, electric plugs on both sides of the bed, mini bar, Nespresso, machine with milk included, toiletries, blow dryer,Safe. The soaking tub was amazing, and they even had bad salts so you could use them. You would get fresh vanity kits every day. The Wi-Fi wasn’t very good, and the TV wasn’t very good either. That is the only bad thing we have to say. The staff was amazing.Tembo was very attentive to anything we needed. The breakfast was amazing, and we probably had the best Egg Benedict we’ve ever had. you would get in and out of the property with a keypad code. The location couldn’t be perfect, a block away from all restaurants and everything else. The area was very quiet.
