Very Poor
After advising me explicitly that I can change my dates ("You may proceed with changing the dates. Kindly advise which dates you would like to move to so that we can check availability."), I gave them dates that were open, but then they reneged and I lost $1,900. Deplorable.
Do NOT expect to be treated like a paying customer and do NOT expect therm to be truthful.

Asara's location was breathtaking, with amazing views day and night, great grounds to walk around, and an amazing selection of their own vintage of wines available to taste. Add to this the amazing welcome and care taken by the staff, and the experience is a definite highlight. Would love to be back in the future!

A Truly Memorable Stay at Asara Wine Estate
My fiancé and I had an unforgettable experience at Asara Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm, friendly service that made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond, treating us with genuine care and five-star hospitality throughout our stay. A special shout out to *Calvin*, who embodied the meaning of royal guest treatment. He left a memorable impression and made us feel like VIPs.
The estate itself is absolutely stunning – peaceful, serene, and surrounded by breathtaking views of vineyards and mountains. It's the perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of the Cape Winelands.
We were especially impressed by the spacious, elegantly appointed rooms, which offered a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making it easy to relax and enjoy the moment.
The culinary experience was another highlight. Every meal we had was exceptional – beautifully presented, full of flavour, and a true celebration of local produce and wine.
We left feeling completely refreshed and pampered. Asara exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious escape in a picture-perfect setting.

It was the best reception I have had in my life and I have stayed in many hotels. James was exceptional. He was friendly, helpful, polite, attentive and a gentleman. Wow, what a positive experience. Breaskfast was amazing and the location is perfect.

Beautiful property. My room had a balcony that overlooked vines with mountain vistas behind it and a lake to the side. It was so peaceful and tranquil. The room was modern and quite spacious with a complimentary bottle of wine and water. I definitely could have spent more than just 1 day. I did not use the pool as it was winter and it is not heated. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. I arrived way early at 9 am. I knew the room would likely not be ready so I had planned a couple wine tastings at other wineries and lunch at one of those wineries. It was easy to find Ubers there. Downtown is about five minutes or so drive and the vineyards I picked were 30 and 10 minutes drive away respectively. While at the hotel, I did a wine tasting (not included in the room price) which was pretty standard. Their wines were good, although none of them really stood out for me. Dinner was good too but also did not stand out. What did stand out if how beautifully decorated the tasting room and restaurant are (same building). There were art pieces on display in the reception area as well as in the dining area.

Everything about this place is top notch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was huge and very comfortable. The views from our room were incredible! Breakfast was amazing and included with the room. It was so quiet and peaceful. Reasonably close to Stellenbosch. I would 100% return!
