Disappointing
It is the same venue where the training takes place.
The price, the view and the noise at night. I paid R300 more for my room compared to what I paid a month ago, i.e. R1300 vs R1000. Where I had a room with a view previously, I got a room with a solid brick wall outside my window this time. I shared my dissatisfaction with the staff at reception and was given another room when it was acknowledged that I was not in a great room.

Cleanliness of the room gave me the comfort that I needed. Though the outside view from the window wasn't good enough as it was directly over a roof of an adjacent block. The bed comfort was perfectly fine,
Buffet dinner replenishment was slow. Usually, I take my dinner between 7.30 and 8.00 pm. During all the four days of my stay, I used to find most items on the buffet almost finished and replenishment could take long.

It was a terrible experience. Booked a room for 3 adults - a small room with a bed and a sofa bed, with no linen. After some effort, they brought linen, but the sofa bed was falling apart and so uncomfortable. Why offer a room for 3 adults if the bed is so old and broken? Dinner downstairs - we ordered - an hour later... no, they were still busy dishing. Please don't visit this hotel. Everything is either broken or outdated. Breakfast the next morning - I had to pay extra for the 3rd person - Hello! I've booked and paid for 3 adults! The City Lodge around the corner = excellent.

BREAK FAST WAS WELL PREPARED IN TIME, ROOM CLEANED AND SECURITY WAS GOOD.
THE ROOM CLEANER WOULD FORGET TO REPLACE THE BATH MAT AND BIN BAG THUS I HAD TO INFORM THE RECEPTIONIST EVERY DAY.

Room was clean and comfortable. The lady who walked me to the room to open it (Could not get a key because the system was down) was very professional and polite.
Slowest check in at a hotel I have experienced The people behind the counter seemed unconcerned that I was standing waiting for so long - at least an explanation that the system was down would have helped me to understand why it took so long (about 20 minutes just to check in). No room key because of system. No Wi Fi. Very limited TV channels.

Nothing , worst stay in my life
The shuttle was to small that they charged me , we had to put suitecases on our laps and the front seats , the first room the aircon was not working and was glued in place with a glue gun , we got moved to next room that we could not sleep there was smoke from a grill leaking into the room from the gaps in the window , also the neigbours smoked marijauna , and the smoked was in our room. They moved us again to another room, the fire alarm went off 3 times during the night and disturbed us because people smoked in there rooms and partied the whole night. The last morning of departure at breakfast there was cockroaches run from the bread toaster, and from the coffee machine , I reported it but they did not even try to help .

Bed size, beddings, great breakfast with a wide variety, flexibility of room placement and additional breakfast guests was good, the bathroom and sink size were good with good shelf above the bathroom sink
The bathroom had no telephone shower, and the room was not well ventilated and yet the AC was faulty. The noise from the neighboring pub was a nuisance and so was the traffic noise!

whole environment, the staff, the guards, safety and the surrounding was great and very relaxing. Breakfast smelled so good and looked very delicious.
Smell of paint in the hallway, odour was just too strong, guess they were just busy with rennovations in the hotel...should have at least warned at reception

The peace, I needed time out on my own with no destruction and that's what I got. I think everything was exceptional, the room was worth the value for money and so was everything. I was fasting so I did not do breakfast so I can't comment on that.
Nothing, the service was great so nothing bad to comment on.
