Now that it is run like a B and B, it’s still cool!!!!
It’s a tragic tale of post 2020 things that did not go well for the travel industry! If they refurbish and market it, it can be 2011 all over again!!!!

We used to live in Groenkloof, so the first thing we liked was the location - on Herbert Baker Street in beautiful Groenkloof with beautiful views of Pretoria. We liked the smallish nature of the hotel as it felt almost like staying in our own home. The rooms are great, including the beds and linen. The staff was great, breakfast, etc. Planning on going back next time!

Everything,from the welcoming,the hotel it's self location and the look out of this world. Can't even begin to talk about my room bcoz for the price I paid wasn't expecting a presidential suite... .the view!!.... definitely coming back soon

Centrally located.staff very friendly and helpful. Can see they are doing their best.
Facility a bit dated and breakfast a bit slow when a big group is served. Entrance not great for elderly people to navigate. Very steep hill for a vehicle and if not possible the difficult walk up the hill.

We stayed at this property before and were glad to find it available during our recent stopover in Pretoria. The property is spacious with nice grounds. It's located in a gated community and has supplemental security of its own. The room was spacious and comfortable with a small, private balcony. The bathroom was very large with two sinks, a bathtub, and a shower. Breakfast was a very nice service and the staff provided us a warm welcome.

The location is really nice, wonderful neighborhood.
This guesthouse seems like it has had better days. The furniture is a bit outdated and the place seems neglected. It can do with some maintenance and a good clean.
Every morning at 6 there was a dog barking profusely from across the street, for hours. Very very irritating. The bath in our room still had hairs in it from a previous stay. The room smelt very damp and stuffy when we first entered it, It felt dirty. We also smelled weed the second night upon entering the guesthouse, so someone was smoking it.
The bed was very comfortable and the location is nice and central and there are nice views from the patio.

Due to a mix up with another booking at a different property, I booked this one on short notice. It's a nice property in the style of a Roman villa. Located in a gated community, the property is quiet and very secure. The bedroom area was good sized and featured plenty of storage.
Some of the furnishings need to be updated. The carpet and the upholstery on the chairs in our sitting room were quite old and used. The bathroom was quite small.
