The property was in immaculate condition, the staff were very pleasant and efficient. The unit was well equipped and very nicely cleaned daily . Beautiful view and lots of peace and quiet. We enjoyed long summer days on the veranda, dips in the splash pool and walks in bush .. and the open air shower with piping hot water
The lack of any form of cupboard or shelf in the main bedroom. This meant living out of a suitcase for a week. The toilet being inside the main bedroom was awkward.

A good break away from busy city life. We stayed as my Daughter was at a sports festival next door at camp Konka and Shemba was right there easy access to the camp. It was a lovely stay we enjoyed the friendly farm animals, dogs and most of all the Buck :) will be back to visit again.
Had to get used to the outside toilet/ bathroom. Was a cold walk at night ;)

Bambi the deer was a great host by the pool. the peace and tranquility, ...and the hosts where very accommodating. The outside shower by the out bath is absolutely devine. even on a hot day, the peace of mind overwhelming and it does not take long to settle down.
DONT DRIVE YOUR CITY SPORTS SLICKER CAR...IT WILL BREAK :( unless u trust your driving skills especially on a manual car. Either than that, absolutely feel like we paid too little for a brilliant time away from the Noise in the City. lastly, i need a support group for leaving that outside bath...i could rent and live there its so calming lol.

We had to go outside to go to the bathroom which only has a bath, while there's an outdoor shower. Wifi was pretty bad but not a major issue for us. The bed was not very comfortable and the place needs more maintenence. Even though the bedding smelt nice and was clean there was some smell in both rooms that I would think is possibly a dog pee
Nice and quiet place to relax. Staff attened to anything we asked immediately. Fantastic view. The fact that my son could touch and feed the nyala and the dogs that are there. Great braai and bond fire facilities.

The location was, perfect for a quick weekend away as it is only 1.30 hours away from home (Jhb), which makes it ideal. The hostess Enrica and her staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Communication prior to our visit was also exceptional, all emails were answered promptly and information requested was accurate. The chalets are very private. We were able to arrange a late checkout which made the weekend even more relaxing.
There was not anything we did not like.
