Awesome place set in the hills of Paradise. A short drive to the waterfront and Thesen island and obviously an amazing view over the Knysna lagoon. Also the host, Johan, was super helpful with restaurant reservations and suggestions of things to do. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay, nice view, great host. Located in a nice residential area, up at the end of the Knysna hills, overlooking the lagoon. A good choice, even if not exceptional.
Rooms good and work well, yet a bit outdated and a relatively "normal" design compared to some of the stunning, African-style stays one gets at the Garden Route.
Also, noise of the main street in Knysna remains present - tradeoff vs the great location. Thelen island is more remote, yet also more quiet.

Paradise Found is a real gem in Knysna! Johan is a wonderful host. Our two rooms both had spectacular views. Breakfast each morning was delicious and served on a beautiful terrace. Johan also made two excellent dinner reservations for us. Everything about Paradise Found was a delight!

The accommodation is situated in a very attractive place close to several attractions in Knysna. The view from the room is breathtaking when the weather is beautiful. International visitors add some additional vibe. Knysna cuisine presents with a great variety of tastes and flavors.
I did not like only a rainy weather which we had for a day and a half.

Johann...what a warm hearted, helpfull host. Already Paradise Foundation is exceptional- Johann makes it magical. And he had so many good, good tips where to go, what to do and where best to eat in Knysna area. In our 4 days, with so many nice and interesting talks, we can
say Johan became a very good friend. There is only one thing we regret: we had to leave after 4 days. BUT: we will be back, for sure. We love you Johan- Hanna & Andreas

Easiest 10/10 review ever! A very comfortable room and balcony with a stunning view. Delicious breakfast served daily looking out over the lagoon. A wonderful host who was quick to respond to messages and had great local knowledge, all his recommendations were perfect. We would book here again without hesitation.

Everything was just perfect ! We absolutely loved staying in this apartment. It is truly a little paradise and you won’t regret booking it! The owner is so friendly and helpful. We could feel like home and the view over the lagoon is just marvellous.

The location and views from the accomodation were great, the hygiene was top notch, the breakfast was great, but what I liked most was the incredible customer-friendliness, service commitment and communication with my host Johan. Breakfast every morning was a pleasure, not only because of the excellent breakfast, but especially the information Johan gave about the area and the country. Ask him a question, all the facts , and he has an answer. I learned a lot from him about this beautiful country.
If I will come to this area again I would definitely book a stay with Paradise Found again. No doubt about it.
I thought I had taken photos of the accommodation, but I seem to have forgotten. I do have a picture of the stunning sunrise view.

Everything! Johan is a great host. Lovely kind personality, courteous and helpful. The view from your bedroom is incredible. The size of the terrace.
