Perched on the hillside in historic Knysna with and Knysna Lagoon views, this lodge features a furnished terrace and a garden with Braai facilities. The accommodations at Lagoon lodge has a shared seating area on the main balcony and garden area. Each room has a satellite TV, mini fridge and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a balcony with garden and lagoon views. A 3 course breakfast is served daily in the dining room or outside on the main balcony overlooking the lagoon. Several restaurants and bars are located along the Knysna Marina, a 5-minute drive away. Guests can make use of the Braai/BBQ facilities in the garden. Indoors, Lagoon Lodge has a seating area decorated with wooden furnishings, paintings, plants and vintage-style lounges. Plettenberg Bay and Robberg Nature Reserve are a 40-minute drive away by car. Knysna Railway Station is a 20-minute walk away.

The staff where amazing, Appel was very friendly and accomodateing with our request for a late checkin as we arrrived late from the airport. The staff were amazing. Your beds are so comfortable , really good. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely. Thank you so much.

Cannot review Lagoon Lodge accurately because there was a miscommunication with our booking so we were accommodated at another nearby lodge under the same ownership. Reception ( Frikkie) was exceptionally helpful as was the Manager Appel in finding a solution for us. Breakfast at Lagoon Lodge was very good and we enjoyed the views from the breakfast room/deck
