The location was close to the waterfront and nearby tourist attractions which made it was easy to see, especially having a child. The room was clean and provided what you would require for a stop over. The view from our room was amazing. The host is extremely helpful with providing places to eat and things to see.
On arrival there is no assistance with carrying of luggage which cabn be challenging if you have kids as the room from the parking area is a bit of distance with stairs etc. I feel like the accomodation is a bit misleading, as it states it's apartment when it's actually a room in a house that's been converted into an "apartment". The amenities in the room could use some upgrading. The bed was rather hard. There is also a bad odour coming from the bathroom and the door had to always be closed to contain the smell in the bathroom.

The location is excellent, on a quiet street but still close to shops and restaurants. The host was nice, considerate, and offered useful information about the stay and the area. The apartment is fantastic, very clean, and with a breathtaking view.

Beautiful view of Thesen Island and the Heads. Also close to the main road.
Room had enough space with a littlelounge area as well as well equipped kitchen
Very steep uphill to get to this property, hence the beautiful view.
The property also has a small well cared for pool and loungers.
The dogs also had a nice area to roam in.

Janine was an exceptional host - very communicative and helpful. The property was beautiful and well kept. It was puppy friendly.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable (hard mattress is not my style but Im sure it is great for some!). The water in the taps consistently ran brownish.

Exceptional accommodation and a superb hostess. Close to all amenities but just far enough away to be away from the hustle and bustle of a busy holiday town. Met on arrival by the hostess, quick explanation of everything on offer and then we were discretely left alone to get on with our holiday. Very impressed, would highly recommend.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean with a spectacular view of Knysna. The location of the apartment is also very conveniently situated, close to the city centre. If you up for a brisk walk, then the Knysna Waterfront is also within a 20-minute walking distance from the apartment. Parking was also behind secure gates. The host was also very friendly and helpful and shared all major attractions and ideas to spend the day with us.
The Self Catering unit we wanted was the furthest away from the parking area which was the only negative.
