Beautiful guesthouse in Knysna. Siegfried and Armand were excellent host who gave us a lot of information about the area. Breakfast was great and freshly made. The shower in our room was massive.

Liked the view and perfectly manicured gardens. At reception we were welcomed warmly. Breakfast was lovely and so was the view from the deck. Amazing view of the lake from the pool.
We booked 2 rooms and the one space was considerably smaller but very hot. The manager had to bring a fan after it was requested because it had no fan

The Lodge is well maintained and the staff most helpful. We stayed in the Nest which is separate from rest of the Lodge. This provided for more privacy where we could entertain the family who came to visit for an afternoon braai.
The noise from the traffic coming from the N2 below during the day may be disturbing for some.

Beautiful and quiet location overlooking the lagoon. Clean and comfortable rooms, and friendly and attentive hosts. Excellent breakfast, too!

It was a beautiful setting & we were made very welcome..The breakfast was excellent staff were very friendly and we were given plenty of information on the area.

On arrival the two managers provided us with very detailed infromation about the area and the lodge. The room layout was well thought out, clean and spacious.
There was a power cut on our first morning leveing us with no electricity in the room for heating, water and lights. Only limited power in the reception and breakfast area. Would recommend to the owners consider expanding backup power is installed to all rooms.
There was only 4 TV channels avaialble prior to the loss of power

Proximity to town while still feeling outside. My unit had a small outside area which was very nice for early morning coffee.
Wish I stayed longer. Two single beds moved next to each other but single duvets fitted instead of a double duvet made the sleeping arrangement not as cosy

The staff was lovely and the lodging was surprisingly nice, we had a two-storey chalet with very nice view. Breakfast was very good and abundant.
The place was located close to the centre of Knysna (but you would need a car to get I to town).
There was a bit of noise from the main road just below the establishment, but the place itself was very peaceful.
