Stunning hotel and facilities; we went in shoulder season and thought it was great value. The grounds, facilities and rooms were all exceptional.
Dinner in the restaurant was decent but perhaps a level below the rest of the experience (a very minor point).

We had an unforgettable stay at Pezula Retreat in Knysna! The villa was absolutely amazing — spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped for a luxurious and relaxing stay. The facilities are world-class, making it not only a retreat in itself but also an ideal hub for exploring the Garden Route.
The spa services were exceptional. I had the Ritual Chamber, SOS CBT massage, and the Probiotics Facial — each treatment was delivered with such care and professionalism, leaving me completely rejuvenated. Truly a five-star wellness experience.
What made our stay even more special was the outstanding service. A very strong compliment to Lucciano, the porter, whose warmth, constant helpfulness and friendly attitude, professionalism, and genuine care stood out.
If you’re visiting the Garden Route, Pezula Retreat is an absolute must — a perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and exceptional service.

Every thing was great except for the hot water in the evening you couldn’t get hot water

We felt wrapped in luxury from start to finish! Our suite was stunningly decorated with high end finishes (travertine stone and natural wood). It was very spacious almost like a studio apartment with a mini kitchen, walk-in closet and wood burning fireplace! We had a lovely ocean view from our balcony! The property focuses on cultivating indigenous plants and even has a nursery so the flowers, trees and walkways were interesting and incredibly beautiful! The staff went above and beyond to take care of us! The breakfast was outstanding! They offer a buffet of fresh fruit,fresh fruit compotes, freshly squeezed fruit juices and smoothies as well as an array of fresh pastries including health muffins and banana bread and the hot dishes were simply world class! Dinner was also delicious with a truly varied menu! My spa treatment was amazing! I have to mention the staff again because they were so warm and welcoming! We felt truly refreshed after our stay because the people took such good care of us! Can't recommend highly enough!

The property is located in a beautiful area and the rooms are spectacular as we travel a lot and we haven’t found the match for Pezula as we visited your facility in 2021 and we haven’t found anything like your place
