The apartment was very well equipped with all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay. We really liked the decor and wish we had more time to spend at the apartment. The surrounding area is beautiful and we loved that the coffee shop and beach were within walking distance

Very clean and comfortable. We stayed as a group so we had 2 apartment and the cottage. Host is very friendly and attentive.
The area in front of the house is a little undeveloped, unlike at other parts of the island, at the same time it’s very near the entrance to the isle and the cafes.

Everything. The room catered to all our needs and was extra private with a gorgeous courtyard. Hosts were so helpful and friendly and we would have stayed for longer if we could have! Will be back for sure.

My second time staying at Beletage. The host, Gudi, is really lovely. The room was super comfortable and this time it was one of the rooms with its own courtyard braai area. Walking distance to everywhere on Leisure Island. Quiet, peaceful and idyllic!

Spacious, lovely rooms, very comfortable, with a sweet little balcony and in a quiet, walkable, relaxed location. The host, Gudi, was so friendly and helpful, made me feel very at home.

Was supposed to to be a 2 bedroom cottage, however one of the bedrooms was part of the kitchen diner very small layout to move around in and did not allow for any privacy as the only bathroom was past the bed in the kitchen diner and you needed to go outside of the building to use the toilet.
The initial meeting by the host was informing us that we owed her money (deposit had been paid) normally we pay the remainder prior to departure. We then received a further what’s app message that evening at 9.00pm asking for money to be paid with a snapshot of the balance. We can’t recall feeling more uncomfortable with a host than we did there.

Clean, spacious apartment in a lovely quiet neighborhood with lots of trees.
Nice enclosed terrace for our small dogs, with walking trails close by.

What a find in Knysna. We so enjoyed our stay at Beletage. The apartment was spotless and super clean and really beautifully decorated. Clever little kitchen, a braai outside on the big patio with a lovely seating area.
Big walk in shower, very comfortable bed and such a light and cozy duvet.
We took the free bikes one morning to cycle around the beautiful island. Some great coffee shops as well for lunch.

Excellent location. Comfortable bed.
The shower was blocked and the water ran out (and built up) very slowly which is awful. Saw a cockroach in the bathroom at 2 am in the morning which had disappeared by the time I got my husband out of bed!
