Friendly smiles and directions to the shops.
Too much noise and poor customer care, tried calling to alert reception about noise and no one picked up calls, despite complaints the night before. We did not sleep for both nights, people were playing loud music and shouting from evening to early hours of the morning.

Two young men at the front desk were excellent, friendly and helpful, easy to talk with, housekeeping staff and mentainance staff were very helpful too.
All the amenities in the room, including a microwave and toaster, nice hot shower, comfortable bed and a great back view.
The location is near the rosebank mall, everything you would need.

The location is perfect, close to the rosebank mall, the rooms are lovely and big,clean bathrooms.
The room has a kettle,refrigerator,toaster and microwave. There is also a sink and few dishes,spoons,knieves and folks, also a tv.big window.
There is very good Wi-Fi, hot water, a/c and heat, love the shower.
The staff are amazing, friendly,helpful and kind, always willing to help.

The hotel was new and clean, big room,comfortable bed, big shower with hot water, there is a microwave, kettle , refrigerator and tv in the room.
A short walk to the rosebank and mall, all the staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly.
The view from my hotel room was lovely and the sun would come in the room.
The walls were thin, I could hear everything from the room above and from outside the corridor.

Great value or "bang for buck' stay. Works perfectly for my business trips. Located close to "vibey" Rosebank in a very chill and secure neighborhood. Perfect for my quiet morning long walks to nearby Illovo, Atholl and Houghton. Rosebank Mall being 10 minutes walk is very convenient for supplies, supermarkets, shops and services, banks, restaurants and pubs included. Sandton City at weekends daytime worked out R80 one way with Uber Black. Driving into Mint Hotel is welcoming just figure out the mini U turn needed to get to the Jellicoe Avenue entrance because one can miss the entrance if one isn't paying attention. Found all staff very friendly and helpful from receptionist to housekeeping to the security officer to the gardener. Nice to stay at a place where everyone says hi. Housekeeping didn't act up when you are still in the room at the time they needed to clean the room, the lady always understood when I asked for a few minutes to get out of her way. The rooms were always clean and orderly on my return. My room and general grounds felt very safe and it was impressive to see that my room had a bedside panic button and a safe for valuables. The design of the rooms is modern and my room came microwave, fridge, workstation. The hotel Wi-fi was perfect throughout my 12 day stay. TV worked well had lost connectivity once but that was resolved when I reported to reception. Aircon worked perfectly both for heating and cooling. The room comes with a line to reception that I never got to use. Booked as a single room and there was sufficient cutlery, crockery etc for my microwave and breakfast needs. Great water pressure in the bathroom always found hot water. Toilet flushed well. No plumbing leaks. I did not experience noise from other guests during the day or night except for 1 BMW with a crazy exhaust. Speaking of which there is plenty of parking for guests. I enjoyed my stay and definitely definitely visiting again.
Whilst Rosebank has many options for restaurants and pubs it would be great to have an on-site restaurant for the lazy days. A swimming pool too would be nice
