The location is close to Mandela Square and Sandton City Mall. The hotel runs a free shuttle roundtrip to the site. Check with hotel staff for hours of operation.
Airport Shuttle. It doesn't specifically say free or charged shuttle, which is a false advertisement and a fraud. On the request, it is clearly stated that I needed information on their airport shuttle, but nobody has addressed this concern. This Mantombi Mayooyo stated he couldn't respond to my messages. I tried replying to an email from the property, but there was still no response. I booked this hotel not knowing it's close to Mandela Square and Sandton City Mall, which mitigated my disappointment about the airport shuttle. This airport shuttle costs ZAR 700, while you can get on Bolt for ZAR 250. Uber is high-priced in the Johannesburg and Dunbar areas, according to my experience. And It's not a van or minibus. My ride was a Mercedes Benz, which mitigated the airport shuttle's cost again. This property should plainly state that it is a charged airport shuttle. And that should clear the doubts away. I don't know why the property deliberately omits this information. They offer a 10% discount on taxis, but the price is still high.
Shower area. I'm not sure who designed the bathroom. You must be a voyeuristic person to design it that way. Though the steam fogs the viewing area, I am not comfortable with having my kid see his parents in the nude. Would you? They place one towel, and you have to request housekeeping to provide extra even though it's clearly stated the booking was for three. It's such a bother for little things that are so obvious.

Beds were amazing, room was lovely, housekeeping great. Wonderful breakfast. Everything about the c stay other than the staff was pretty great.
The facilities are nice, but unfortunately the service completely overshadowed our stay.
While a few staff members were genuinely pleasant, we repeatedly encountered indifferent and unfriendly service, especially from the front desk and one restaurant server.
The front desk often took 3–4 phone calls before anyone answered, and when they finally did, there was little concern or even a sincere apology.
The most frustrating experience happened at the restaurant. My 4-year-old daughter was hungry, so I ordered a takeaway meal rather than the buffet since we were already leaving. We were told it would take 20 minutes. It took well over an hour. By then my daughter was exhausted and upset, refused to eat, and the meal ended up in the trash. Delays happen, but what was disappointing was the complete lack of urgency, communication, or genuine apology.
What stood out throughout our stay was not the mistakes themselves, but the attitude. We consistently felt that the staff simply didn’t care.
It’s unfortunate because the property itself is attractive, but good facilities cannot make up for poor service. We won’t be returning, and with so many other hotels in the area offering comparable accommodations, I would recommend staying elsewhere.
