I had the most delightful stay, the staff made me feel so welcome and cared for. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect for our conference just down the road at The Wanderers Club. The gardens were stunning and felt like a total retreat from the bustle of the city. Would 100% recommend to any other travellers.

We had a great stay! The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable couch, cushions, a fan, and both a shower and a bath. There’s beautiful greenery outside, which does attract a few flying bugs, but nothing major — plus, there was Doom provided in the room just in case.
Breakfast was delicious, and various options were offered on the table.
The pool was big and perfect for relaxing, and the location is great — not far from Melrose Arch or Rosebank, making it super convenient. Definitely a peaceful and enjoyable spot!

Absolute tranquille place with a lot of history in the middle of town. Green garden, many plants, lots of shade and nice pool. Room with plenty of space and privacy, nice bath and comfty bed. Friendly staff and Sue is a perfect host.

We had a big welcome from Sue and shown to our beautiful room! The bed was superb ?? the breakfast was delicious the staff were friendly and the pool was lovely! We could walk to the cricket ground it was perfect!

Comfortable beds, very warm welcome by the owner and always a smile and a chat. The security guards are very nice and make sure you feel safe and comfortable. The propoerty is an oase in the busy (and sometimes unsafe) Johannesburg. There is plenty of parking available behind the fence. The pool is lovely and deep, great to swim in, the pool is gated so children cannot fall in. Breakfast is avialble from ealy morning to later if you want to chill a bit longer. You can sit outside as well as inside. Ironer and ironboard was available on request.
There is nothing that I did not like. The level of quality is very good but not excellent. This does not mean you have anything to complain about! For example the leaves in the swimming pool are not removed daily (later in the week they were) and the grass had to be mowed. Do not leave you door open in the dark, due to the many trees you will have bugs in your room then. There is bug killer spray availble in the room in case you did forget :-). There is no airconditioning in the room, but a blower is available.

Is a very calm and peaceful place, the stuff is very nice and helpful.

1st room was not nice. Carpets in bathroom and not comfy. Room on second night was much better.
Pool towels were not replaced daily.
