Wonderful
The garden is really nice. Lots of trees, birds & shade. Andante Lodge is a nice place to get back to after a long day at work. The check-in & gate access system is easy & efficient.

The property is in what looks like a very safe neighborhood. The facilities are very nice and value for money is phenominal. It feels like a Marriott residence in because I even had a fully stocked kitchen in my room. What makes this property stand out is the owner Elmo and his wife. They are just wonderful and managed to take care of us. Even when there was a major electricity outage in the city, the owner managed to get power going and managed to personally inform each one of the residents personally updating us with progress. Just perfect management and the garden is beautiful. Also due to proximity to the natural reserve you can hear many birds. They also come to the garden.

Poor
We stayed as a couple at Andante Boutique Lodge for five nights, so had sufficient time to form a balanced view. First impressions are positive: the décor is tasteful and the fittings are attractive. Unfortunately, closer experience reveals a pattern of careless upkeep that detracts significantly from the stay. During our visit, the wall clock in our room did not work, the toilet seat was loose, and the bedside lamp had a flickering LED bulb, making it unsuitable for reading. Our room was a converted garage, with all windows and the door at one end. As a result, both natural light and ventilation were poor. The room also adjoins others on both sides, so noise and movement from neighbouring rooms were noticeable. Compounding this, there were extensive building works taking place throughout our stay, with builders and cement work visible around the property. This was not mentioned at booking, nor was any apology, discount, or concession offered. Overall, while the lodge presents itself well in marketing, the reality falls short, particularly given the price. Based on our experience, it represents poor value for money. I would encourage prospective guests to read a range of reviews, including the less favourable ones, before booking.

TV was not working, they promised 2 double beds only to find that is 1 double bed and 1 single bed, the door is hard to open,the outside chairs were dirty

Large, comfortable room with calming white interior.
Pillows were really old and did not provide good support. I ended up with a stiff neck. The towels are sub standard. Soft, high quality ones are really needed.
