Nothing. Not a place to be. Not my kinda place
The lodge is a house setup. Linen very old. No maintenance at all. Swimming pool was very dirty and you can see it's not looked after for a while. My daughter was scared of monkeys. The house had ants inside and out and some cockroaches in the bedroom.

1.The location is good and not far from the beach , the pool is nice and the room is also good. The fridge and aircon were working.
2.The staff were friendly.
3.Wifi also working.
1.There was no bath soap, no coffee, no sugar until I asked.
2.It was the same towel for the whole 4 days which is unhygienic, no water to use for boiling in the room, you have to walk to the kitchen tap or buy your own.
3.No teaspoons or knives in the room.

I could safely park a car in a lockable garage.
There is no time restriction in terms of moving in and out.
Asked for Ironing board and iron but given Iron and have to make plans of how and where to iron.
Bedding and Towels looks very dull.

The place was very comfortable even though it was that hiccups due to the fact that their renovations were still in progress.
Some of their appliances were not working, and the pool was not clean, and the briaa area was not installed

The Cleanliness,its spot on.We went to race on the Balwin marathon when we came back the place was spotless and the Cleaning Lady was friendly and smiling
The sofa covers ?make it looks like a granny's lounge,ai I didn't like that

We did not have breakfast there. Virginia Forest was very welcoming and our room clean. The property could do with a little touch of updates here and there but overall we were comfortable, safe and enjoyed the stay.
Perhaps nice linens and bedcover in hospitality quality tones and nicer pillows would set the room up to look much more inviting. The patio chair cushions also very faded and old. These are small things that impress guests and make them feel more comfortable and special which is how you want to feel when away from home. I am a stickler for decor though and all in all for the price you cannot expect the world. The website made me super excited as it is beautiful so was a little disapponted as the place looks a little tired.
