The staff was not helpful and the opening and closing of the gate was a nightmare since there is no remote given to clients.
There is no contact phone line available on sight for clients and contact number reflected online doesn’t work as it was always off.
The staff was not willing to help at all.
There was no iron boards and no alternative provided.

The staff was nice and helpful.
Room was not prepared at all, no Towels, no Toilet Papers, no sugar coffee or tea, I had to ask one of the helpers for the Aircon remote, and even after I got it. It didn't work. Room was okay but the door looked a little like it was almost gone, felt like I need to be a little more gentle everytime I open it.

They are scammers . I don’t know why they still putting the accommodation here on the site knowing very well that it’s no longer working. The place is very dodgey and abandoned

NOTHING! Essenwood is a CATCHFISH on booking.com. The pictures on booking.com are totally out of date. The establishment is completely run down and in need of repair.
Everything. Essenwood house on booking.com is a LIE! The wooden balcony's are falling apart, the verandah roof is collapsing, There is a burnt out building as you arrive, the lawn was full of rubbish bags, the rooms were bare except for a bed, and they couldn't confirm my booking or payment as their systems were down. I cancelled my booking, asked for my money back which I doubt I will get and left as fast as possible. I didnt not feel safe at all.

Location was ok. And pictures were great however the property itself was a disaster.
Hygiene. No shower curtains. Poor quality accommodation. Not value for money. Was so bad that I only stayed the one night and decided to book somewhere else. A waste of money.

I wasn’t let on the property, when I got there I called and WhatsApped them and they declined all my calls, I was left stranded, even though I booked and payed a month prior and called the property to confirm day before. There is no security at the gate and it’s not a safe place to stay at all.
This property needs to be closed if they don’t want to work.

The room was big enough for both of us.
There was no wifi in the room even when I reported, nothing was done to check.
The sink was blocked, we couldn't use it properly.
There could be more done on cleaning the room and outside table and chairs in preparing for the guests.
The door lock was broken making it difficult to lock.

Bed linen was dirty, there were stains , room smelling of mould we had to move rooms due to unpleasant smell and bed linen being dirty. There was water shortage and we had to complain before getting hot water to bath. No TV in our room.pools are dirty.
