Beautiful courtyard for breakfast. Pool area was lovely and rooms were clean.

Our family room was next to the staff area and there was constant noise and furniture being moved throughout the night. Only negative comment was that their menu didn’t cater to kids.

What a wonderful little hotel. We had such a fantastic stay here. From the warm and energetic service to the great food and beverage options to the immaculate and spacious rooms, this was the perfect start to our trip. So much so we didn't leave the hotel during our stay as we enjoyed it so much! Our only regret is not staying longer.
In particular, we really appreciated the hotel's responsiveness in arranging our airport transfer and the way in which the restaurant staff took time to check meal ingredients to accommodate my dietary requirements.
We hope to visit again soon!

The black and white designed courtyard with pink Bougainvillea are candy for the eye, beautiful, the decoration of the rooms are beautiful too with high valuable decoration items, the staff was very friendly, the restaurant good
As guest of the hotel you would like to have a reservation for breakfast in the beautiful courtyard, there are a lot of outside bookings so we could not enjoy the beautiful feature that attracts you all over their advertising media

The hotel has lots of character and atmosphere, and it is in a terrific and beautiful location. My room was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The staff (especially Amy at the front desk) are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast featured lots of delicious options (both buffet and menu), and we also enjoyed dinners in the hotel restaurant. The spa is gorgeous and tranquil.

The Winchester has a lot of historic charm with distinctive, Dutch-inspired local architecture and a great seafront location. It's about a 40-minute walk to the V&A Waterfront but hotel staff said not to walk back at night, so we Ubered. Terrific restaurant, great food and vegan options, very stylish, Santa Monica vibe. The pool looks great but it was too chilly at our visit to enjoy it. I will go back!

A great hotel with high standards for a very fair price. A historic building, with a lovely courtyard, it does seem like an experience staying here. Location is good, just a relatively safe 40 minute walk from the V and A waterfront and with a lovely coastal view just outside. Also handy for all Cape town sights, such as Table mountain. They also operated a very useful transfer minibus service around the city. The room was excellent and had all you could want. Breakfast very substantial and high quality food. Room service food offering was also excellent. Hotel offered services such as turn-down which were above what guests would expect in this price bracket. Finally, all staff were cheerful, engaging and keen to please. We were really very impressed.

The location is perfect, and the service and staff are excellent. The quality of food in the restaurant is high standard. Particularly, I liked that the breakfast time is from 7 until 11/12. No rush to the breakfast area, no traffic at the buffet, etc... Hotel provides a shuttle to the Waterfront w/o charge. I would definitely recommend to do any SPA treatment. I enjoyed very much.
The size of the room (#323) is small for SA. Particularly, due to the narrow ceiling, I bumped my head against the wall at night. The wardrobe is a joke! There is no space to hang the clothes. And the hairdryer is fastened to the wall. It is not possible to use it properly. See my pictures.
