Wonderful
everything was good except the services at the breakfast, the services are not good, and you can request anything you need three times in order to get it. Also, the manager of the breakfast is not supportive and not welcoming.
the location is perfect

**Exceptional Stay at InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town by IHG**
Our family stayed at the InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town by IHG and booked three rooms overlooking Table Mountain and the harbor. It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
The hotel is in outstanding condition. It felt as though it had been recently renovated, with beautiful modern finishes, brand-new carpets, tasteful décor, and even that fresh, newly renovated atmosphere throughout the property. Everything was impeccably clean, elegant, and very well maintained.
One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The selection was extensive, with high-quality ingredients and plenty of options to suit every taste. We also enjoyed dining at a couple of the hotel's restaurants, and each meal was excellent. The food, service, and atmosphere consistently exceeded our expectations.
The hotel's greatest asset is its **location**—it simply couldn't be better. Situated right at the V&A Waterfront, everything is within easy walking distance. You have immediate access to excellent restaurants, shopping, souvenir stores, attractions, the open-air amphitheater, and the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus stop. Whether you're visiting Cape Town for the first time or returning, it's the perfect base for exploring the city without needing transportation.
We also took advantage of the spa during one of Cape Town's rainy days, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel features a heated swimming pool along with a lovely poolside bar and café, making it an enjoyable place to relax regardless of the weather.
Overall, this hotel offers everything you could want: comfortable and beautifully maintained rooms, outstanding dining, excellent amenities, and one of the best locations in Cape Town. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we would happily return on our next visit.

Location excellent - next to the V&A Shopping Centre. Breakfast awesome with a good range to offer, room was comfortable with views to die for. Make sure you request a room with a view of Table Mountain.
Slightly overpriced.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Table Bale Hotel in Cape Town and the location is wonderful, in addition to all the comfort it offers you, the breakfast is very tasty and the service is excellent. We would come back more often. Plus it's right next to the shopping mall with escalator access directly from the hotel. In addition to being practically inside the Waterfront, which facilitates many walks and access to restaurants and stores nearby.

Very Good
All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable.
Trying to communicate before arrival was a nightmare. For weeks I got an email back responding to my email with I’m out of the office. Response time from hotel, extremely delayed it at all. This is a major problem for them and for guest.
My room was beautiful one huge concern is that cruise ships and other boats dock and their motor is going all the time very disturbing. I’m not sure what the hotel could possibly do about that negotiate with the port possibly

Disappointing
Location is excellent walking distance to mall and super markets and restaurants
Breakfast good staff friendly
Everything went wrong from the minute we arrived. . Second time at this hotel. Arrived very late at night toilet broken took an hour to change rooms. We then had an another broken toilet in new room As a few Few days later woke us up at 5.30 am toilet running.
Next day security woke us up at 5 am checking rooms. They tried to get into room. Unacceptable you don’t do this when people are sleeping in room
We also had to unplug phones all 3 of them got crank calls one night every few minutes non stop.
Lunch in restaurant was good except service shocking. 45 minutes wait for food .
Suffice to say we won’t be staying here again

Very Good
Location was fun the Waterfront an iconic Cape Town location with easy access to great bars and restaurants.
key access was poor from the lobby to the elevators with many failures over the stay 4 times back to reception was very irritating .Once understandable but not 4 times and we were not alone with this frustration, with other guests suffering the same failures. It did not come as much of a surprise to the staff also who were almost blasé in their approach so it happens a lot...too many times for a 5Star property.Surely time to upgrade the system. It is ply does not work!

Disappointing
The first point of contact, were the gentleman standing at the outside entrance. They never seemed helpful.
The concierge was not informative nor helpful, I asked about restaurants and she never had any menus, I asked if she could book a table and she basically said that I can book myself.
The breakfast chef staff didn't seem friendly either. it feels as if something is not right internally, I've frequented the hotel for years but the last two occasions feels like there are challenges.
