Sea facing rooms have amazing views and great balcony. Beautiful interiors and overall very good service and breakfast.
Street in front is quite loud with performing groups all day long, kind of not great to listen to while sitting outside at all hours. Can also hear the noise through the sliding doors… could be worse but ideally you don’t hear anything at all with the doors slid close. Also weird entrance up the driveway ramp in the back.

The location of The Marley Hotel was beyond ideal—truly perfect for anyone wanting to be in the heart of the action while still enjoying complete peace and quiet. Despite being in a lively area, I was never bothered by noise, traffic, or any outside distractions. One thing to note is that the entrance is at the back of the building. If you have luggage, be prepared to go through a parking lot and take the elevator up to the hotel. It’s a small inconvenience, but nothing that takes away from the experience. The staff was absolutely phenomenal—extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive. What stood out most was how unassuming the hotel appeared from the outside. While the exterior could use some modernization, the inside was immaculate. Every floor, every level, every space smelled absolutely incredible—it was easily the best-smelling hotel I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable, stylish, and centrally located stay in Cape Town!
