I came here as a solo traveler to CT for the first time and I knew I picked right immediately I got to the apartment. Everywhere was so clean and organized! The views were breathtaking,security was 100%. I never had any cause to fear during my stay. The daily housekeepers assigned to clean did their job so well too. Overall,I enjoyed my stay here and I’ll recommend it to everyone because I’ll definitely be staying here again whenever I’m in CT.

The view was fantastic. The location was really good. The apartment was clean and tidy.
The main bedroom was small and not sea facing. We ended up using the loft area for the view.

Had trouble getting the washing machine fixed. Were told we had to use old towels for 3 days before we could get fresh towels. The shower trap in the en suite smelled bad, raised it a number of times, but was never resolved during our week stay there

The place is beautiful and very comfortable. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. It's not directly on the water but that means it is quieter than being on the main strip of Camps Bay. But it's only about a 7 minute drive down to all the restaurants in Camps Bay. Good location to get to all the tourist sites. Will hopefully be back!

I never receive any information about the apartment from the host or how to get around in Cape town. There were a few things like the shower, television, and the temperature in the apartment. I made several people aware of my concerns but unfortunately the issues were not fixed:(

Great location and view. Few tweaks it would be perfect. Needed a blind in the bathroom. Neighbours overlooked at a distance but if they were pervy they could watch you in the shower. I was in there and saw the people on an open top your bus sail past. Not ideal.
As above re shower. Never provided garage fob as promised. A few times I had to get out the car, going the reception and asked to be let out.

Nothing went well. It was a very unpleasant experience. Would not stay here again!
We recently stayed at The Crystal Apartments in Camps Bay, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what was advertised. We had previously stayed here in 2024 and had an amazing apartment, which is why we decided to return. However, this time was a huge disappointment.
We booked a luxury 2-bedroom loft apartment, which was described online as having king-sized beds, air conditioning, a furnished balcony on the main level overlooking Camps Bay Beach, and another furnished balcony on the loft level with views of the Twelve Apostles. What we actually got was completely different:
The main level balcony was barely 2 feet wide with no furniture, making it unusable.
The loft bedroom had no balcony at all, and the roof overhang blocked any potential view.
Instead of a king-sized bed, the loft had two single beds, which was incredibly uncomfortable for me as I’m 6’6”.
To top it off, the loft had no air conditioning, making it very uncomfortable, especially in the summer heat.
I was extremely upset upon check-in, but since it was already 5:30 PM, the staff told me they were fully booked and couldn’t offer an alternative. They also claimed that because I had booked through Booking.com, I needed to contact them directly. I did so, and Booking.com support tried to reach The Crystal, but they never responded.
Bottom line: Be very careful when booking here. What you see, you may not get.
