Modern architecture with elegance beyond belief, beautifully furnished, fresh flowers, stunning setting for a home in Bantry bay , overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Great parking on site. You won’t want to leave the property!

Friendly, attentive, and professional staff. Beautiful ocean and coastal views, the crane not withstanding. Elegantly furnished rooms with all the required amenities.
The hotel would be challenging for disabled persons.

We only stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip, but the hotel was extremely relaxing and perfectly situated in Bantry Bay with amazing views over the ocean and even Robben Island in the background. All major restaurant areas in Cape Town (V&A, Camps Bay, Kloof Street etc.) are within 10 mins taxi. There are lovely morning walks towards Seapoint and Camps Bay to start the day.
No negatives really.

Very friendly staff.
• Rooms are very poorly soundproofed; the doorbell ringing throughout the night from guests coming and going kept us from sleeping during our entire stay.
• Extremely basic amenities; the bathroom is far below the standards one would expect from a place advertised as a 5-star establishment; the bedding is quite mediocre.
• Our room was supposed to have a sea view — instead, we had a view of a wall!
• The owner was rather unfriendly (unlike the staff, who were absolutely lovely). We shared our dissatisfaction with her; she offered to give us two free nights for our next stay in Cape Town, which is completely irrelevant, as we have no intention of staying at this property again. Since then, we haven’t received any response, with the excuse that she is out of the country.

Rooms are large, clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean, with only 13 rooms the service was very personal and staff are excellent. Election of items for breakfast was very big, in fact too much to choose from.
Nothing, everything was excellent. I could don't fault this hotel.

Decor a bit tired. As was pool and surrounds. Needs a refresh. Large construction crane on property below was distracting to a normally great view.

View is wonderful and rooms comfy. Staff are fantastic. Breakfast is very good.
Not great coffee - for this standard of boutique hotel you would expect better.
Room turn down on one of the evenings didn't happen.
There are charges for all minor items in the room although we were informed on arrival that this wasn't the case.

Amazing sea views from this lovely guest house. Couldn’t call it a hotel as no food after lunch except at weekends when a chef cooked. Dinner for those who booked. Staff were really helpful, everything super clean and comfy beds. We had a suite on the 1st floor which was delightful.
Not enough sun umbrellas and some of the sunbeds, although very comfortable, were broken.
Staff were really lovely but at times they lacked the direction of management who were not always visible.
