This was our fifth stay at The Cape Milner and we will not hesitate to return. The location is great and feels safe (only a 5 minute walk to the many bars and restaurants on Kloof Street yet quiet). The pool area is a suntrap and has incredible views of Table Mountain.
The staff were engaging, friendly and proactive (and are one of the reasons that we keep returning). Breakfast had an extensive continental selection along with hot options. We had lunch by the pool which was delicious and great value.
Rooms are spacious and very clean, with strong air con and effective black out curtains.

The Cape Milner is value for money and a very comfortable and simple place to stay in Cape Town. The hotel feels safe, cozy, and well maintained, which was important for us while travelling as a family. The hotel has secure parking, which added to the overall convenience. Staff is super helpful.

The location is good to Kloof street shopping and restaurants and cafes. The luggage storage pre and post check in was handy. Good coffee station facilities in the room. Comfortable bed and linen.
The food needs improvement. My caesar salad did not come with crispy gem lettuce but rather soft lettuce, and had tomatoes in it?? No bacon or chicken either. The eggs I ordered at breakfast were runny when I asked for medium.
The room had no menu or numbers displayed to phone room service or reception - you have to scan a QR code!!
