The location is good, just a matter of getting used to the area, moving from one place to the other is very easy and also very close to the V&A, where most tourists like to spend their time on vacation. Breakfast was divine with a taste for everyone, and too much to eat!!!! We enjoyed every moment of being at the hotel. Staff was excellent!!!! warm, friendly and always pleasant going out of their call of duty to make the guests happy.

The Taj is a fabulous hotel. so attentive, nice and helpful. We had a great visit and would love to stay again.
Not much. This is an urban hotel but it has a pedestrian street on one side that makes it a little less crowded.

Breakfast, a large choice with lots of healthy options. Ginger immune shots were great.
Could not turn the sound down or off for the TV in the bathroom, I forgot to mention it at the time.
Needed extra water for the kettle.
Not certain if the tap water was potable for that.
Music in the bar and foyer too pop, not relaxing and not relevant to the surroundings.

The room was very large and beautiful! Staff was very friendly. The property itself was in a great location with nice bar and restaurant.
Service could’ve have been better with staff. Housekeeping were not efficient. They would forget towels or water or refill coffee. They did clean the room nicely.

I had an excellent experience at the Taj Cape Town due largely to the exceptional staff. All the staff were so gracious, kind and helpful. I also appreciated an upgraded room with a tremendous view of Table Mountain as well as access to the Club Floor. The breakfast was also excellent, including a vast buffet as well as ala carte options.
The Taj Cape Town is in a central location in the CBD so it was easy to get to where I wanted to go. But the area around the hotel felt a bit seedy so I would suggest being careful walking around the neighborhood at night (I do note that hotel security is top-notch). I also wish I had learned about the option to change pillow types for my bed. I saw this the morning of departure, and I would have slept better if I had switched-out pillows upon arrival.

Taj Cape Town truly has international standards. We’ve stayed in many of Cape Town’s “top” hotels, but Taj stands out above the rest in both elegance and guest services. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay there last year, which motivated us to return this year. also The location and the Indian restaurant.
The bathroom had a problem with the shower head. We asked for help; they just put it back in place without fixing it. As a result, it kept falling off. Then a hotel guest on the landing made noise in his room all night; it was annoying and uncomfortable. and we were also disappointed by the breakfast.
