Was given excellent advice at checkin in. The location is excellent. The breakfast buffet was good and varied and it was nice that it included additional options that would not have been expected in other hotels.
The gym could have been bigger and better equipped. There was nothing else though that I didn't like.

The staff in the club lounge were exceptional especially Innocent, who was super friendly and always spoke to me about my day. The sauna here is 24 hours as is the swimming pool and as we had jet lag this was a bonus, although you do have to ask them to put it on first and it takes 30 minutes to warm up.
I didn't feel I got very good service from the concierge team, I wrote an email before I arrived listing all the things I wanted to do, and 36 hours after I checked in they finally called me in the room and asked me to come down and chat with them. As it was they never ended up booking most of the things for me and I made my own arrangements as I didn't trust them to get it right after Dale messed up the very first thing I booked and still tried to overcharge me for the car, Dale was quiet rude about it and never apologised for his error nor wasting two hours of our time on a wild goose chase.

We were in a Cycle Race that started early so the Taj laid on a 'cyclists' breakfast that was available to us before normal restaurant opening time. This was very welcome
There is no on site parking but the Valet Parking worked well
