Surprising hotel that went beyond my expectations. The apartment suite was really well setup with a large balcony where we could sit very comfortably.
My sole criticism is that there are tall trees in the garden that block the view of the ocean which is hard to understand why they would do that.

The staff is so loving and attentive. Nice breakfast included. Nice beds and clean apartment. We stayed on the first floor, so it was a bid loud with noises from the people and kids on the pool. There is room service and the kitchen is super well equipped.
The apartment we stayed was very dark. There was aircon only in the main bedroom. The water pressure was not good in one of the bathrooms and the other one had no shower, there was just a handheld shower head inside a bathtub.
There was no view as we were expecting.

The ladies at reception were friendly.
The location is not great and the area can get quite noisy. I would say this is not a luxury place as advertised. Accessibility is bad and there are no porters to assist with luggage. The place is so underwhelming, with very little amenities. They do not serve dinner on site and no additional meals as they have a 3 PM cut off for food. The staff do not go out of their way to help guests. Besides the reception ladies the rest didn't seem to know much or care. I was in a one bedroom apartment which supposedly had a sea view, but it was just buildings and a tiny window of the of the actual sea. I reported to the reception ladies that my shower was leaking and the water the would flood the bathroom floor even after a quick shower. No one was sent to the room to have a look and when I called housekeeping to at least mop the floor I was told that they do not work after 15:30, as that is the cut off time. So I had to pile up towels and try skip over the wet floor. There was no complementary water and every time I ordered water I was reminded of the R25 , that needed to be paid. This was in bad taste , it's as it seems like the staff cared way too much about that and less about clients service. I also requested that the room be serviced quite regularly due to allergies especially dust. I checked out and my linen had not been changed three days later. To top it all off I got bitten by mosquitoes and not sure it also could've been bedbugs. Again, I advised the lady at reception and she didn't offer any form of assistance or seem concerned about this. Sadly, I will not be staying at Romney luxury apartments ever again!

Very misleading to say “air conditioning” when it’s only in the living area and not in the bedroom where one needs it the most. Provide a miserable fan for bedroom, which does not quite fall into the “luxury” category.
Do not replenish tea bags or coffee pods, which I find petty.
Having to book breakfast the night before is not appealing to me. They didn’t replenish the yogurt selection over the 5 Days we were there, after asking if they had anything other than low fat, after the first day. Small things, but to me short sighted, and not guest friendly.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Everyone there was beyond nice, and we truly enjoyed our stay. This hotel is great for families and groups of friends since the rooms can accommodate several people.
My only complaint is about the breakfast buffet, it’s always crowded, so you need to book in advance, and the food options were a bit limited. Also, the minibar doesn’t offer complimentary water. However, the location is great, with many shops and places to explore nearby if you have a car.
