This was one of my best B&B stays anywhere. The places was simply beautiful. It has a gorgeous view of the town and the water, especially in the morning. The room was large and nicely decorated. It had a lovely sitting/living room. The breakfast was superb...everything fresh and tasty. Most of all, Sharon and Johnny were the absolute best hosts: kind, caring, helpful. They really seemed to enjoy and care for what they do and the people who stay there. A top choice.

We had a great stay in Redbourne – it was our first time in Cape Town and Sharon + Johnny helped get us settled so quickly – giving time for tips, local knowledge and much more. There are not many hosts out there as good as they are – and their set up works a treat. Spacious rooms, a delicious breakfast with a stunning view + nicely located for calm – but a close drive in to see all the city has to offer. Thank you both so much – fully recommended!

My first stay at the Guesthouse was almost like a second home, this is why I decided to come back at the end for a second stay. Breakfast was delicious and a lot, perfectly prepared for a long day out! Shazi and John are super friendly, helpful and always open for a lovely chat and exciting stories about Cape Town. They help you to sort out any problem and give you recommendations what is going on in town. The place was very safe, the pool a refresher during hot days and the view (on both sides) are mind blowing :-) .... see you next time Shazi and John !

Redbourne Hilldrop felt like a home away from home, so comforting to return there in the evening. The hosts made me immediately feel like family and sincerely cared about my wellbeing the whole time. Room was very neat, clean, stylish and quiet. Amazing views over the city from the breakfast bar and looking up at Table Mountain.

Everything was great! Very nice and spacious room and a huge bed for myself :) view on the table mountain from the room and view on the ocean on the other side. Sharon & Johnny are very friendly and kind. Also the are is really nice and you will feel safe. I would recommend this place to everyone!

We had a very good room with a large good bed. The breakfast at the open window was fantastic.
Very friendly Sharon and Johnny gave us a lot of information. We walked to the waterfront and came back with a taxi.
The walk to Kaap de Goede Hoop was also nice. There are so many possebilities in Cape Town. We will come back.

We couldn’t have chosen a better place for the final nights of our vacation! The hosts were fantastic, taking the time to explain everything in detail and ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth and comfortable stay.
The atmosphere was relaxing, and the accommodations were well-kept and inviting.
It was a great place to end our trip, and we’d recommend it for a peaceful stay.
The only downside was that the doors were not very soundproof, so it was easy to hear noises from outside the room plus the smell from the kitchen.
