On the whole the property is beautiful. We loved the art on the second floor, the pool is stunning and super well maintained. Everything is designed beautifully.
There’s a real lack of attention to detail. We weren’t informed of construction ahead of time and repeatedly woken up before 9:00 due to construction going on in the floors above ours. The shower in our room was dirty when we moved in, the hair dryer was placed inside the desk by a previous guest and not moved back, at breakfast one morning my sister’s chair was taken away from the table while she was at the buffet so she had to stand around with a plate in her hand while staff tried to find another chair. When we were offered a new room due to construction, the room was lacking hand towels and the pillows we had come to expect from the first room.
I never would have booked this hotel if I had known about the constant construction. When I complained to guest services they said a manager would be in touch shortly. They never got in touch with me despite following up multiple times. In the end one reception worker moved us to a different room. It’s incredibly rude to not let guests know about construction and unacceptable to have them start before 09:00 when you market yourself as a relaxing hotel with a spa and amazing pool facilitiesY I came there to enjoy the facilities, in the end we couldn’t even lounge by the pool due to the construction noise outside.

The renovations outside were horrendous. Parking was terrible and navigating through the traffic cones and wheelbarrows was hazardous.
I understand this is temporary, but then i was still charges an additional R240 for parking!!! I could not even get to the underground parking.

Their receptionists and concierge were very friendly, welcoming, and professional. They were approachable and pleasant, and their attitude was noticeably better than what was experienced with room service and the breakfast team.
However, unfortunately, good service at reception and concierge cannot compensate for poor service throughout the rest of the stay.
Housekeeping and restaurant service fell significantly below expectations.
The room service and housekeeping experience was extremely disappointing. Basic necessities were repeatedly missing, like drinking water and towels!
The room cleaning was also done very poorly. It felt rushed and lacked attention to detail. For the price and standard one would expect from the hotel, the level of housekeeping was simply unacceptable.
The breakfast service was perhaps the most frustrating part of the stay. The service team appeared completely disinterested and unresponsive. I am confused if this was racism as i will be more annoyed!!
You ask a staff member for something, and instead of attending to the request, they simply walk away and stand somewhere on the side as though you never ask. You then have to ask 2nd staff and even the third time — with the same lack of response. Frustrating exercise of repeatedly trying to get someone's attention for even simple requests.
Even when staff are clearly aware that a guest is waiting, there seems to be very little urgency or willingness to assist.
Booking.com should not recommend the hotel at all.

Great hotel. Clean, safe, and in a good location, only 7–10 minutes by car from the V&A Waterfront. There are supermarkets, restaurants, an ice cream shop, and the popular BRASH burger restaurant nearby.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Thandi and Tshidi, who did an excellent job organizing our tours.

Good location, wonderful views and facilities, Very nice hotel for 4 stars. I liked that one of the bathrooms had the water hose bidet.
The design of the two bedroom apartment bathroom is unusual. It had an ensuite bathroom with no toilet seat, which was in a smaller room in outside the bedroom.

I like the hotel itself, the food & beverage service and the friendly staff.
The cleaness of the room it was a downfall for me, bed sheets were not changed, floor was not vacuumed until we checked out, toilet trash bin was not emptied. what a disappointment.

The location was great. Easy walk to the water. The staff are lovely and very helpful! The rooms were very clean. Food at the restaurants was good!
The beds were comfortable but the pillows are awful. There is a pillow menu and I tried all of them and none of them were great. For the price and compared to the great quality of the rest of the stay, I would expect better pillows.
