Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast (although the orange juice did no appear to be freshly squeezed)
The gym is a bit dated, crammed with equipment but for some basic things like a Yoga mat you have to wait for someone to show up at the reception (often empty).
They do no do laundry on weekends which is a bit strange for a five star hotel. Try "Laundry is best" - cheap and just two minutes from the hotel.
There is just one button to call the elevator instead of up and down. So if you are on the 8th floor (pool) and want to go to your room on the 12th floor, half of the elevator stopping are on their way down.

Very clean, large room and comfy bed.
The room was odd in that you could not turn on the bathroom light in the bathroom , it was a switch by the bed. Also there really was no place to hang towels by the bathroom sink.

The room was amazing with a spectacular view of table top mountain and lion's head mountain, the staff was over the top (5 stars for the entire staff), always serving warm meals with smiles. I love the bar staff.

Very nice sauna.
There is a spa and very nice gym though we did not use either.
Very nice rooms. Very nice view of table mountain. Mini fridges in the room were nice.
Very loud, making it hard to sleep. Even on a Sunday night, the club across the street was pounding until the wee hours of the morning. And we were on the 11th floor but it was still very noisy.
Pool does not get sunlight after about 3pm due to being on an east facing deck. Would have been nice if both the pool and sauna were open later than 9p, perhaps till 10.
Parking is 150 Rand PER CALENDAR DAY.
Also they started doing maintenance on the room adjacent to ours at 7:55 am, waking me up.

The staff was exceptional. Ndumie was most helpful in helping me via email plan our stay and she was very attentive while we were staying at the hotel. From the time we checked in the staff was professional and kind. We booked our airport transportation and private driving tour through the hotel. The drivers and vehicles were great. We had the 3-bedroom Presidential Suite, which was well laid out and included an outside deck, pool and wonderful views. The beds were good. The breakfast was excellent; one day we had it delivered to our room and ate outside on the deck. The room fee included to food; we just had a nominal fee for delivery. All in all, the stay was very pleasant and I would stay there again. The staff dedication is A+.
We did have an issue with a bedroom in our Suite and the staff could have been more pro-active in figuring out a solution. One of the rooms got A LOT of noise from a disco or club. The Suite was a bit worn. It was two stories and the phones were only upstairs. We were disappointed when we returned to the Suite one evening and the breakfast table had not been cleared. Again, the staff was kind and prompt in getting the job done.

The one thing I wished that would have been better is the WIFI. it was very weak in our room and we had work we needed to do. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay.

The room suite was spacious. The balcony overlooking Table Mountain is nice, but there is no furniture at all on the balcony. Very walkable to Long Street night life. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of options and the 24/7 room service was very good. All staff were VERY friendly and helpful.
Too many mosquitos everywhere in the hotel restaurant, lobby and occasionally in the room.

Super friendly and attentive staff made our stay very comfortable. Very beautiful room, well cleaned. Breakfast was delicious. Spa is 100% recommended.
The location was very convenient but probably should not get out of the building by foot in terms of safety. But this is pretty much the same everywhere in the city except for V&A waterfront. The noise from nearby club lasted till 3am.
