From the moment I walked through the doors, I was made to feel welcome. The reception team struck that perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, making check-in effortless while still making me feel like a valued guest rather than just another booking number. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with a sense of comfort and understated luxury throughout. Breakfast variety was exceptional, catering to every possible preference. Whether you were looking for a full cooked breakfast, fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, or healthier options, there was an abundance of choice. Every morning felt like a treat, and it was the perfect way to start the day. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to enjoy the spa, gym, or swimming pool during my stay, which is probably my only disappointment. They looked fantastic. The personal touches from booking to turn-down service were all exceptional. Hotel also has a shuttle to the V&A that runs every two hours or so.
Just a bit disappointed that I was handed my room key at check-in only to find that housekeeping was still busy with the room.

Hard to book number of people per room on bookings, so once at hotel changed for 2 person in each room per night.

Location is brilliant, if you know Cape Town you are right smack bang in the middle of the City Bowl enjoying all the many restaurants, bars and other areas right at the hotel doorstep. Breakfast was divine, you can not expect anything more from a really great buffet style breakfast.

We loved every moment! They surprised my husband with a cake and every staff member we encountered was amazing! Only thing I was sad about was that we did not know the gym or sauna was free to use... So hopefully we can use it on a next stay ;)
