It's a beautiful house, nice view of the ocean (over the road and railroad tracks), friendly staff.
Its on an incredibly steep hillside, and almost nothing you can walk to (just one restaurant). We also had loud smoking neighbors on the adjoining decks so we opted not to sit out there.

We absolutely loved our stay at Moonglow Guesthouse. The hosts were incredibly kind, warm, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They gave us so many useful recommendations, made us feel truly cared for, and every morning treated us to an amazing breakfast. The house itself is wonderful — full of cozy, unique details and original artwork that create a very special atmosphere. The views are breathtaking from everywhere: our room, the lounge area, and all the balconies and patios. You can admire both the bay and the mountains, and it feels magical at any time of day. The guesthouse combines comfort, cleanliness, warmth, and attention to detail — everything we needed for a perfect stay. Our upgraded room even had an additional bed prepared for our child, which was extremely thoughtful. Highly recommend choosing the larger, upgraded room for maximum comfort.

Definitely request a seaside view for the patio access. Very spacious room with a personal bathroom and plenty of cabinet space and windows to open if you’d like to hear the waves.

We had a great stay at Gillian’s place. We booked last minute but there weren’t any issue. The room was big, well decorated and well equipped. The view from the balcony is incredible. The place is very safe and there’s a restaurant 5 min walking. The breakfast prepared by Gillian was very tasty and we had a nice chat with her in the morning. You can tell she pays attention to details to ensure her guests have the best stay. We only stayed one night but we would have been happy to stay longer in this amazing place. Thanks again!!

The view is amazing and definitely stands out in this one. But also the nice interior of all common rooms have a unique style and charme. There is a ? that visited us during breakfast. The host was very kind and left no room for complaint. You can reach the tidal pool in a few minutes if you are keen to dip in the ocean during sun rise.

We enjoyed our comfortable stay at Moonglow. Excellent service and a good breakfast that keeps you for the whole day. Safe parking and good internet. Breathtaking views, shops nearby and lots to see and do in the area. It's definitely a place to go and stay over again.
