Walkable to beach and restaurants. Breakfast was amazing today.

Everything! The property is breathtaking. I loved our unit especially the bathroom and the stunning views. The breakfast spread was great. The staff was so nice, helpful and accommodating. They really made my stay with my mom so special. Definitely looking forward to visiting again.

it was a perfect place to relax after travelling around, especially with such a lovely pool. The room/suite was enormous and lovely. the location is great too as very easy to get to the local restaurants/beach, although as up a slight hill, a car would be needed

The location was excellent for us to go to V&A Waterfront for early morning pickup to experience a Stellenbosch wine-tasting tour. Our hosts were so wonderful and accommodating; they allowed us to leave our bags, which was safer than leaving them in the car at a parking garage until our return from the tour to catch our flight home that evening. They even offered facilities in which we could freshen up, and provided us with a delicious cheese board and fruit for our enjoyment upon our return to collect our bags! This was so thoughtful and generous of them; we could not ask for a higher standard of excellence in hospitality.
Will definitely be recommending them to the rest of our family traveling crew who could not accompany us on this extended vacation to various provinces in South Africa, and we will be back for a longer stay in the future, during which we will get to experience the additional treat of the highly reputed pastries and mouthwatering breakfast. Thank you Ciska, Masi and the rest of the wonderful staff for our short, sweet stay!

We have stayed a couple of times previously so knew what to expect. However, our expectations were dashed. See below
However, the breakfast was really fabulous and the staff very nice people.
The previous owners had sold and it was under new ownership
There were maintenance issues that we had to keep asking to be attended to but as we left they were still not sorted.

Location on steep hill.
Garden is like a jungle.
Pool cleaned only when asked.
Had to ask for a serviette at breakfast, this should be the norm when serving food.
Didn't like camps bay at night, far too loud and boisterous.

Wonderful and clean hotel. The waterfront of camps bay and thus a large selection of restaurants is within walking distance in about 10 minutes (very safe we also walked at night). The Sovn offers an incredible breakfast with a huge selection and daily changing highlights.
But what convinced us above all were the incredibly friendly and warm-hearted hosts, who were always on hand with help and advice and took a lot of time for their guests and any special requests (many thanks to Ciska and Masi). We would fully recommend the hotel.

The most amazing service and hospitality. They really made us feel welcome and special. We especially enjoyed the festive energy around the Christmas period.
The room was spacious.
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The team took on board my dietary preferences and were very accommodating. Again - lovely festive touches with this too
